Sura Al-Hijr (15) — Stjenoviti predjel · الحجر

Mekanska sura, 99 ajeta.

Stanovnici Hidžra i Allahovo obećanje da će Opomenu sačuvati.

Al-Hijr 15:1

الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانٖ مُّبِينٖ

Elif Lām Rā. Ovo su ajeti Knjige, Kur'ana jasnog!

Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an

Al-Hijr 15:2

رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ

Zažaliće nevjernici često što nisu postali muslimani.

Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims

Al-Hijr 15:3

ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Pusti ih neka jedu i naslađuju se, i neka ih zavara nada – znaće oni!

Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know

Al-Hijr 15:4

وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

A Mi smo uništavali gradove samo u određeno vrijeme,

And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree

Al-Hijr 15:5

مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ

nijedan narod ne može ni ubrzati ni usporiti konac svoj.

No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter

Al-Hijr 15:6

وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ

Oni govore: "Ej, ti kome se Kur'an objavljuje, ti si, uistinu, lud!

And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad

Al-Hijr 15:7

لَّوۡمَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

Zašto nam meleke ne dovedeš, ako je istina što govoriš!"

Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful

Al-Hijr 15:8

مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ

Mi meleke šaljemo samo s Istinom, i tada im se ne bi dalo vremena da čekaju.

We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved

Al-Hijr 15:9

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Mi, uistinu, Kur'an objavljujemo i zaista ćemo Mi nad njim bdjeti!

Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian

Al-Hijr 15:10

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

I prije tebe smo poslanike prijašnjim narodima slali

And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples

Al-Hijr 15:11

وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

i nijedan im poslanik nije došao, a da mu se nisu narugali.

And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him

Al-Hijr 15:12

كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

Eto tako Mi Kur'an uvodimo u srca nevjernika,

Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals

Al-Hijr 15:13

لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

oni u nj neće vjerovati, a zna se šta je bilo s narodima davnašnjim.

They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples

Al-Hijr 15:14

وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ

Kad bismo njih radi kapiju na nebu otvorili i oni se kroz nju uspinjali,

And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend

Al-Hijr 15:15

لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ

opet bi oni, zacijelo, rekli: "Samo nam se pričinjava, mi smo ljudi opčinjeni!"

They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic

Al-Hijr 15:16

وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ

Mi smo na nebu sazviježđa stvorili i za one koji ih posmatraju ukrasili

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers

Al-Hijr 15:17

وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ

i čuvamo ih od svakog šejtana prokletog;

And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]

Al-Hijr 15:18

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ

a onoga koji kradom prisluškuje stiže svjetlica vidljiva.

Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame

Al-Hijr 15:19

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ

A Zemlju smo prostrli i po njoj nepomične planine razbacali i učinili da na njoj sve s mjerom raste,

And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing

Al-Hijr 15:20

وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

i dajemo vam iz nje hranu, a i onima koje vi ne hranite.

And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers

Al-Hijr 15:21

وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ

I ne postoji ništa čije riznice ne posjedujemo, a od toga Mi dajemo samo onoliko koliko je potrebno.

And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure

Al-Hijr 15:22

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

Mi šaljemo vjetrove da oplođuju, a iz neba spuštamo kišu da imate šta piti – vi time ne možete raspolagati.

And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers

Al-Hijr 15:23

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ

I samo Mi dajemo život i smrt, i samo smo Mi vječni,

And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor

Al-Hijr 15:24

وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ

i samo Mi znamo one koji su vam prethodili, i samo Mi znamo one koji će poslije doći,

And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]

Al-Hijr 15:25

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ

a On, Gospodar tvoj će ih, zaista, sve sabrati. On je mudar i sve zna.

And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing

Al-Hijr 15:26

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

Mi smo stvorili Adema od ilovače, od blata ustajalog,

And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud

Al-Hijr 15:27

وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

a još prije smo stvorili džine od vatre užarene.

And the jinn We created before from scorching fire

Al-Hijr 15:28

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

I kad Gospodar tvoj reče melekima: "Ja ću stvoriti čovjeka od ilovače, od blata ustajalog,

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud

Al-Hijr 15:29

فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

i kad mu dam lik i u nj udahnem dušu, vi mu se poklonite!"

And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration

Al-Hijr 15:30

فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ

svi meleki su se, zajedno, poklonili,

So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely

Al-Hijr 15:31

إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

osim Iblisa; on se nije htio s njima pokloniti.

Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated

Al-Hijr 15:32

قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

"O, Iblise" – reče On – "zašto se ti ne htjede pokloniti?"

[Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate

Al-Hijr 15:33

قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ

"Nije moje" – reče – "da se poklonim čovjeku koga si stvorio od ilovače, od blata ustajalog."

He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud

Al-Hijr 15:34

قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ

"Onda izlazi iz Dženneta" – reče On – "nek si proklet

[Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled

Al-Hijr 15:35

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

i neka se prokletstvo zadrži na tebi do Dana sudnjeg!"

And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense

Al-Hijr 15:36

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

"Gospodaru moj" – reče on – "daj mi vremena do dana kada će oni biti oživljeni!"

He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected

Al-Hijr 15:37

قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ

"Daje ti se rok" – reče On –

[Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

Al-Hijr 15:38

إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ

"do Dana već određenog."

Until the Day of the time well-known

Al-Hijr 15:39

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

"Gospodaru moj" – reče – "zato što si me u zabludu doveo, ja ću njima na Zemlji poroke lijepim predstaviti i potrudiću se da ih sve zavedem,

[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all

Al-Hijr 15:40

إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

osim među njima Tvojih robova iskrenih."

Except, among them, Your chosen servants

Al-Hijr 15:41

قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ

"Ove ću se istine Ja držati" – reče On:

[Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight

Al-Hijr 15:42

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ

"Ti nećeš imati nikakve vlasti nad robovima Mojim, osim nad onima koji te budu slijedili, od onih zalutalih."

Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators

Al-Hijr 15:43

وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

Za sve njih mjesto sastanka Džehennem će biti,

And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all

Al-Hijr 15:44

لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبٖ لِّكُلِّ بَابٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٞ مَّقۡسُومٌ

on će sedam kapija imati i kroz svaku će određen broj njih proći.

It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated

Al-Hijr 15:45

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ

Oni koji su se Allaha bojali i onog što im je zabranjeno klonili, oni će u džennetskim baščama pored izvōrā biti.

Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs

Al-Hijr 15:46

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ

"Uđite u njih sigurni, straha oslobođeni!"

[Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]

Al-Hijr 15:47

وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

I Mi ćemo zlobu iz grudi njihovih istisnuti, oni će kao braća na divanima jedni prema drugima sjediti,

And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other

Al-Hijr 15:48

لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ

tu ih umor neće doticati, oni odatle nikada neće izvedeni biti.

No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed

Al-Hijr 15:49

۞نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Kaži robovima Mojim da sam Ja, zaista, Onaj koji prašta i da sam milostiv,

[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful

Al-Hijr 15:50

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ

ali da je i kazna Moja, doista, bolna kazna!

And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment

Al-Hijr 15:51

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

I obavijesti ih o gostima Ibrahimovim –

And inform them about the guests of Abraham

Al-Hijr 15:52

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ

kada su mu ušli i rekli: "Mir!" – on je rekao: "Mi smo se vas uplašili."

When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you

Al-Hijr 15:53

قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ

"Ne plaši se!" – rekoše – "donosimo ti radosnu vijest, učena sina ćeš imati."

[The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy

Al-Hijr 15:54

قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

"Zar mi donosite radosnu vijest sada kad me je starost ophrvala?" – reče on – "čime me radujete?"

He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform

Al-Hijr 15:55

قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ

"Donosimo ti radosnu vijest koja će se doista obistiniti" – rekoše oni – "zato nadu ne gubi!"

They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing

Al-Hijr 15:56

قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

"Nadu u milost Gospodara svoga mogu gubiti samo oni koji su zabludjeli" – reče on

He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray

Al-Hijr 15:57

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

i upita: "A šta vi hoćete, o izaslanici?"

[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers

Al-Hijr 15:58

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ

"Mi smo poslani narodu nevjerničkom" – rekoše –

They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

Al-Hijr 15:59

إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

"samo ćemo svu Lutovu čeljad spasiti,

Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all

Al-Hijr 15:60

إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

osim žene njegove, ona će, odlučili smo, sa ostalima kaznu iskusiti."

Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind

Al-Hijr 15:61

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

I kad izaslanici dođoše Lutu,

And when the messengers came to the family of Lot

Al-Hijr 15:62

قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ

on reče: "Vi ste, doista, ljudi neznani!"

He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown

Al-Hijr 15:63

قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ

"Ne!" – rekoše oni. "Donosimo ti ono u što ovi stalno sumnjaju,

They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing

Al-Hijr 15:64

وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

donosimo ti ono što će se, sigurno, dogoditi, a mi, zaista, istinu govorimo.

And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful

Al-Hijr 15:65

فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ

Izvedi čeljad svoju u gluho doba noći, a ti budi na začelju njihovu, i neka se niko od vas ne osvrće, već produžite u pravcu kuda vam se naređuje!"

So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded

Al-Hijr 15:66

وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ

I Mi smo mu objavili ono što će se zbiti: da će oni, svi do posljednjeg, u svitanje uništeni biti.

And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning

Al-Hijr 15:67

وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

U to dođoše stanovnici grada, veseli.

And the people of the city came rejoicing

Al-Hijr 15:68

قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ

"Ovo su gosti moji" – reče on – "pa me ne sramotite,

[Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me

Al-Hijr 15:69

وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ

i bojte se Allaha, i mene ne ponizujte!"

And fear Allah and do not disgrace me

Al-Hijr 15:70

قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

"A zar ti nismo zabranili da ikoga primaš?" – povikaše oni.

They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people

Al-Hijr 15:71

قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ

"Ako već hoćete nešto činiti, eto kćeri mojih!" – reče on.

[Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]

Al-Hijr 15:72

لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ

A života mi tvoga, oni su u pijanstvu svome lutali.

By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly

Al-Hijr 15:73

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ

I njih je zadesio strašan glas kad je Sunce izlazilo,

So the shriek seized them at sunrise

Al-Hijr 15:74

فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

i Mi smo učinili da ono što je gore bude dolje, i na njih smo kao kišu grumenje od skamenjene gline sručili –

And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay

Al-Hijr 15:75

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

to su, zaista, pouke za one koji posmatraju –

Indeed in that are signs for those who discern

Al-Hijr 15:76

وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ

on je pored puta, i sada postoji;

And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road

Al-Hijr 15:77

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

to je doista pouka za one koji vjeruju.

Indeed in that is a sign for the believers

Al-Hijr 15:78

وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ

A i stanovnici Ejke su bili nevjernici,

And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers

Al-Hijr 15:79

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ

pa smo ih kaznili, i oba su pored puta vidljivi.

So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway

Al-Hijr 15:80

وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

I stanovnici Hidžra su poslanike lažnim smatrali,

And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers

Al-Hijr 15:81

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ

a Mi smo im dokaze Naše bili dali, ali su oni od njih glave okrenuli.

And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away

Al-Hijr 15:82

وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ

Oni su kuće u brdima klesali, vjerujući da su sigurni,

And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure

Al-Hijr 15:83

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِينَ

pa i njih u svitanje strašan glas zadesi

But the shriek seized them at early morning

Al-Hijr 15:84

فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

i ne bijaše im ni od kakve koristi ono što su bili stekli.

So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn

Al-Hijr 15:85

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةٞۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ

Mi smo nebesa i Zemlju i ono što je između njih mudro stvorili. Čas oživljenja će zacijelo doći, zato ti velikodušno oprosti,

And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness

Al-Hijr 15:86

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

Gospodar tvoj sve stvara i On je Sveznajući. –

Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator

Al-Hijr 15:87

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ

Mi smo ti objavili sedam ajeta, koji se ponavljaju, i Kur'an veličanstveni ti objavljujemo. –

And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an

Al-Hijr 15:88

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Ne pružaj poglede svoje na ono što Mi dajemo na uživanje nekim od njih i ne budi tužan zbog njih, a prema vjernicima blag budi

Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers
