Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51) — The Winnowing Winds · الذاريات
Meccan surah, 60 ayat.
The scattering winds — provision is with Allah, worship is the purpose.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:1
وَٱلذَّـٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرۡوٗا
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing
Tako Mi onih koji pušu snažno,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:2
فَٱلۡحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقۡرٗا
And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]
i onih koji teret nose,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:3
فَٱلۡجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسۡرٗا
And those [ships] sailing with ease
i onih koji plove lahko,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:4
فَٱلۡمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمۡرًا
And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter
i onih koji naredbe sprovode –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:5
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٞ
Indeed, what you are promised is true
istina je, zaista, ono čime vam se prijeti,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:6
وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٞ
And indeed, the recompense is to occur
nagrada i kazna sigurno će biti!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡحُبُكِ
By the heaven containing pathways
Tako Mi neba punog zvjezdanih puteva,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:8
إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي قَوۡلٖ مُّخۡتَلِفٖ
Indeed, you are in differing speech
vi govorite nejednako,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:9
يُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ
Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded
od njega se odvraća onaj za kog se znalo da će se odvratiti.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:10
قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّـٰصُونَ
Destroyed are the falsifiers
Neka prokleti budu lažljivci
Adh-Dhariyat 51:11
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ سَاهُونَ
Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless
koji su, utonuli u neznanje, ravnodušni!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:12
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense
Oni pitaju: "Kada će Dan sudnji?"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:13
يَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفۡتَنُونَ
[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire
Onoga Dana kada se u vatri budu pržili!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:14
ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient
"Iskusite kaznu svoju – to je ono što ste požurivali!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:15
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs
Oni koji su se Allaha bojali – u džennetskim baščama će, među izvorima, boraviti,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:16
ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِينَ
Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good
primaće ono što im Gospodar njihov bude darovao, jer, oni su prije toga dobra djela činili,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:17
كَانُواْ قَلِيلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ
They used to sleep but little of the night
noću su malo spavali
Adh-Dhariyat 51:18
وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ هُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness
i u praskozorje oprost od grijeha molili,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:19
وَفِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ
And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived
a u imecima njihovim bio je udio i za onoga koji prosi i za onoga koji ne prosi.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:20
وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّلۡمُوقِنِينَ
And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]
Na Zemlji su dokazi za one koji čvrsto vjeruju,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:21
وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ
And in yourselves. Then will you not see
a i u vama samima – zar ne vidite? –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:22
وَفِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزۡقُكُمۡ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised
a na nebu je opskrba vaša i ono što vam se obećava.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:23
فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقّٞ مِّثۡلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمۡ تَنطِقُونَ
Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking
I, tako Mi Gospodara neba i Zemlje, to je istina, kao što je istina da govorite!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:24
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ
Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham
Da li je doprla do tebe vijest o uvaženih gostima Ibrahimovim
Adh-Dhariyat 51:25
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown
kada mu oni uđoše i rekoše: "Mir vama!", i on reče: "Mir vama, ljudi neznani!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:26
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلٖ سَمِينٖ
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf
I on neprimijetno ode ukućanima svojim i donese debelo tele,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:27
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat
i primače im ga: "Zar nećete da jedete?" – upita,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:28
فَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةٗۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ
And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy
osjetivši od njih u duši zebnju. "Ne boj se!" – rekoše, i obradovaše ga dječakom koji će učen biti.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:29
فَأَقۡبَلَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ فِي صَرَّةٖ فَصَكَّتۡ وَجۡهَهَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٞ
And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman
I pojavi se žena njegova uzvikujući i po licu se udarajući, i reče: "Zar ja, stara, nerotkinja?!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:30
قَالُواْ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing
"Tako je odredio Gospodar tvoj" – rekoše oni – "On je Mudri i Sveznajući."
Adh-Dhariyat 51:31
۞قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers
"A šta vi hoćete, o izaslanici?" – upita Ibrahim.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:32
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ
They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals
"Poslani smo narodu grješnom" – rekoše –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:33
لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن طِينٖ
To send down upon them stones of clay
"da sručimo na njih grumenje od ilovače,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:34
مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors
svako obilježeno u Gospodara tvoga za one koji su u razvratu svaku mjeru prešli."
Adh-Dhariyat 51:35
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers
I Mi iz njega vjernike izvedosmo –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:36
فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِيهَا غَيۡرَ بَيۡتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims
a u njemu samo jednu kuću muslimansku nađosmo –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:37
وَتَرَكۡنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ
And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment
i u njemu za sve one koji se boje patnje neizdržljive znak ostavismo.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:38
وَفِي مُوسَىٰٓ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ
And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority
I o Musau, kada ga s očiglednim dokazom faraonu poslasmo,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:39
فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٞ
But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman
a on, uzdajući se u moć svoju, okrenu glavu i reče: "Čarobnjak je ili lud!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:40
فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ
So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy
I Mi i njega i vojske njegove dohvatismo, pa ih u more bacismo, jer je bio osudu zaslužio.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:41
وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ
And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind
I o Adu, kada na njih vjetar poslasmo u kome nije bilo nikakva dobra –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:42
مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ
It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins
pored čega god je prošao, ništa nije poštedio, sve je u gnjilež pretvorio.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:43
وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذۡ قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَمَتَّعُواْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ
And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time
I o Semudu, kad mu bî rečeno: "Uživajte još neko vrijeme!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:44
فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ
But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on
I oni se oglušiše o naređenje Gospodara svoga, pa ih uništi strašan glas na oči njihove,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:45
فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ
And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves
i ne mogaše se ni dići ni od kazne odbraniti.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:46
وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ
And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient
I o Nuhovu narodu, davno prije; to, zaista, bijaše narod neposlušni!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:47
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا بِأَيۡيْدٖ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander
Mi smo nebo moći Svojom sazdali, a Mi, uistinu, još neizmjerno mnogo možemo,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:48
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَٰهِدُونَ
And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer
i Zemlju smo prostrli – tako je divan Onaj koji je prostro! –
Adh-Dhariyat 51:49
وَمِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember
i od svega po par stvaramo da biste vi razmislili!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:50
فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ
So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner
"Zato požurite Allahu, ja sam vam od Njega da vas javno upozorim;
Adh-Dhariyat 51:51
وَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ
And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner
ne prihvaćajte drugog boga osim Allaha, ja sam vam od Njega da vas jasno opomenem!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:52
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ
Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman
I tako je bilo, ni onima prije ovih nije došao nijedan poslanik, a da nisu rekli: "Čarobnjak je!", ili: "Lud je!"
Adh-Dhariyat 51:53
أَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ
Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people
Zar su to jedni drugima u amanet ostavljali? Nisu, nego su oni ljudi koji su u zlu svaku mjeru bili prevršili,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:54
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٖ
So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed
zato ove ostavi, prijekor nećeš zaslužiti,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:55
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers
i nastavi savjetovati, savjet će vjernicima, doista, koristiti.
Adh-Dhariyat 51:56
وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me
Džine i ljude sam stvorio samo zato da Mi se klanjaju,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:57
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me
Ja ne tražim od njih opskrbu niti želim da Me hrane,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:58
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ
Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength
opskrbu daje jedino Allah, Moćni i Jaki!
Adh-Dhariyat 51:59
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبٗا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me
A nevjernike će stići kazna kao što je stigla i one koji su bili kao oni, i neka Me ne požuruju,
Adh-Dhariyat 51:60
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised
jer, teško nevjernicima na Dan kojim im se prijeti!
