Surah Muhammad (47) — Muhammad · محمد
Medinan surah, 38 ayat.
The surah bearing the Prophet's name: striving, and deeds not undone.
Muhammad 47:1
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds
Allah će poništiti djela onih koji ne vjeruju i od puta Njegova odvraćaju.
Muhammad 47:2
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَءَامَنُواْ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ كَفَّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَأَصۡلَحَ بَالَهُمۡ
And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition
A onima koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine i vjeruju u ono što se objavljuje Muhammedu – a to je Istina od Gospodara njihova – On će preko hrđavih postupaka njihovih preći i prilike njihove će poboljšati,
Muhammad 47:3
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons
zato što nevjernici slijede neistinu, a vjernici slijede Istinu od Gospodara svoga. Tako Allah navodi zbog ljudi primjere njihove.
Muhammad 47:4
فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَضَرۡبَ ٱلرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ فَشُدُّواْ ٱلۡوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا مَنَّۢا بَعۡدُ وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ ٱلۡحَرۡبُ أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَلَوۡ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ لَٱنتَصَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ بَعۡضَكُم بِبَعۡضٖۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds
Kada se u borbi s nevjernicima sretnete po šijama ih udarajte sve dok ih ne oslabite, a onda ih vežite, i poslije, ili ih velikodušno sužanjstva oslobodite ili otkupninu zahtijevajte, sve dok borba ne prestane. Tako učinite! Da Allah hoće, On bi im se osvetio, ali On želi da vas iskuša jedne pomoću drugih. On neće poništiti djela onih koji na Allahovu putu poginu,
Muhammad 47:5
سَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ وَيُصۡلِحُ بَالَهُمۡ
He will guide them and amend their condition
i On će ih, sigurno, uputiti i prilike njihove poboljšati,
Muhammad 47:6
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمۡ
And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them
i u Džennet ih uvesti, o kome ih je već upoznao.
Muhammad 47:7
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet
O vjernici, ako Allaha pomognete, i On će vama pomoći i korake vaše učvrstiti.
Muhammad 47:8
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَتَعۡسٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَضَلَّ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds
A onima koji ne vjeruju – propast njima! On neće djela njihova prihvatiti,
Muhammad 47:9
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds
zato što ne vole ono što Allah objavljuje, i On će djela njihova poništiti.
Muhammad 47:10
۞أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡثَٰلُهَا
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable
Zašto oni ne idu po svijetu da vide kakav je bio konac onih prije njih? Njih je Allah istrijebio, a to čeka i ostale nevjernike,
Muhammad 47:11
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوۡلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَا مَوۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ
That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector
zato što je Allah zaštitnik onih koji vjeruju i što nevjernici zaštitnika nemaju.
Muhammad 47:12
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأۡكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡ
Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them
Allah će one koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine uvesti u džennetske bašče kroz koje će rijeke teći, a oni koji ne vjeruju – koji se naslađuju i žderu kao što stoka ždere – njihovo će prebivalište vatra biti!
Muhammad 47:13
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةٗ مِّن قَرۡيَتِكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَخۡرَجَتۡكَ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمۡ
And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them
A koliko smo gradova razorili, mnogo moćnijih od tvoga grada koji te protjerao, i nije bilo nikoga da im pomogne.
Muhammad 47:14
أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم
So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires
Zar je onaj koji ima jasnu predstavu o Gospodaru svom kao onaj kojem se lijepim čine ružna djela njegova i koji se za strastima svojim povodi?
Muhammad 47:15
مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِي وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ فِيهَآ أَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن مَّآءٍ غَيۡرِ ءَاسِنٖ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّن لَّبَنٖ لَّمۡ يَتَغَيَّرۡ طَعۡمُهُۥ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ خَمۡرٖ لَّذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ مِّنۡ عَسَلٖ مُّصَفّٗىۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ كَمَنۡ هُوَ خَٰلِدٞ فِي ٱلنَّارِ وَسُقُواْ مَآءً حَمِيمٗا فَقَطَّعَ أَمۡعَآءَهُمۡ
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines
Zar je Džennet, koji je obećan onima koji se Allaha boje – u kome su rijeke od vode neustajale i rijeke od mlijeka nepromijenjena ukusa, i rijeke od vina, prijatna onima koji piju, i rijeke od meda procijeđenog i gdje ima voća svakovrsnog i oprosta od Gospodara njihova – zar je to isto što i patnja koja čeka one koji će u vatri vječno boraviti, koji će se uzavrelom vodom pojiti, koja će im crijeva kidati!
Muhammad 47:16
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُ إِلَيۡكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُواْ مِنۡ عِندِكَ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires
Ima onih koji dolaze da te slušaju, a čim se od tebe udalje, pitaju one kojima je dato znanje: "Šta ono on maloprije reče?" To su oni čija je srca Allah zapečatio i koji se za strastima svojim povode.
Muhammad 47:17
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ زَادَهُمۡ هُدٗى وَءَاتَىٰهُمۡ تَقۡوَىٰهُمۡ
And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness
A one koji su na Pravome putu On će i dalje voditi i nadahnuće ih kako će se vatre sačuvati.
Muhammad 47:18
فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗۖ فَقَدۡ جَآءَ أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمۡ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance
Zar oni čekaju da im Smak svijeta iznenada dođe, a već su predznaci njegovi tu? A šta će im koristiti opomena kad im on dođe?
Muhammad 47:19
فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ وَمَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place
Znaj da nema boga osim Allaha! Traži oprosta za svoje grijehe i za vjernike i za vjernice! Allah zna kud se krećete i gdje boravite.
Muhammad 47:20
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَتۡ سُورَةٞۖ فَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ مُّحۡكَمَةٞ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا ٱلۡقِتَالُ رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيۡكَ نَظَرَ ٱلۡمَغۡشِيِّ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ فَأَوۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ
Those who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]
A oni koji vjeruju govore: "Zašto se ne objavi jedna sura?" A kad bî objavljena jasna sura i u njoj spomenuta borba, ti si mogao vidjeti one čija su srca pritvorna kako te gledaju pogledom pred smrt onesviještenog! A bolja bi im bila
Muhammad 47:21
طَاعَةٞ وَقَوۡلٞ مَّعۡرُوفٞۚ فَإِذَا عَزَمَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ فَلَوۡ صَدَقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡ
Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them
poslušnost i razuman govor! A kada je borba već propisana, bolje bi im bilo da su prema Allahu iskreni.
Muhammad 47:22
فَهَلۡ عَسَيۡتُمۡ إِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ أَن تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْ أَرۡحَامَكُمۡ
So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship
Zar i vi ne biste, kada biste se vlasti dočepali, nered na Zemlji činili i rodbinske veze kidali!
Muhammad 47:23
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ
Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision
To su oni koje je Allah prokleo i gluhim i slijepim ih učinio.
Muhammad 47:24
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ أَمۡ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقۡفَالُهَآ
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts
Kako oni ne razmisle o Kur'anu, ili su im na srcima katanci!
Muhammad 47:25
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَى ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمۡ وَأَمۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ
Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them
One koji su od vjere svoje otpali, pošto im je bio jasan Pravi put, šejtan je na grijeh navodio i lažnu im nadu ulivao.
Muhammad 47:26
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُواْ مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ
That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal
To zato što su govorili onima koji ne vole ono što Allah objavljuje: "Mi ćemo vam se u nekim stvarima pokoravati" – a Allah dobro zna njihove tajne.
Muhammad 47:27
فَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ
Then how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs
A kako će tek biti kada im meleki budu duše uzimali udarajući ih po obrazima i po leđima njihovim!
Muhammad 47:28
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds
To će biti zato što su ono što izaziva Allahovu srdžbu slijedili, a ono čime je On zadovoljan prezirali; On će djela njihova poništiti.
Muhammad 47:29
أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَن لَّن يُخۡرِجَ ٱللَّهُ أَضۡغَٰنَهُمۡ
Or do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred
Zar onī bolesnih srca misle da Allah zlobe njihove na vidjelo neće iznijeti?
Muhammad 47:30
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ فِي لَحۡنِ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds
A da hoćemo, Mi bismo ti ih, uistinu, pokazali i ti bi ih, sigurno, po biljezima njihovim poznao. Ali, ti ćeš ih poznati po načinu govora njihova – A Allah zna postupke vaše.
Muhammad 47:31
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ وَنَبۡلُوَاْ أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ
And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs
Mi ćemo vas provjeravati sve dok ne ukažemo na borce i postojane među vama, a i vijesti o vama provjeravaćemo.
Muhammad 47:32
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَسَيُحۡبِطُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds
Oni koji ne vjeruju i od Allahova puta odvraćaju, koji su Poslanikovi protivnici, kad im je već postao jasan Pravi put, zaista neće nimalo Allahu nauditi. On će djela njihova poništiti.
Muhammad 47:33
۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds
O vjernici, pokoravajte se Allahu i pokoravajte se Poslaniku, i ne ništite djela svoja!
Muhammad 47:34
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارٞ فَلَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them
Onima koji ne vjeruju i od Allahova puta odvraćaju, pa poslije kao nevjernici umru, Allah, zaista, neće oprostiti.
Muhammad 47:35
فَلَا تَهِنُواْ وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّلۡمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds
I ne budite kukavice i ne nudite primirje kad ste jači, jer Allah je s vama, On vas neće nagrada za djela vaša lišiti.
Muhammad 47:36
إِنَّمَا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٞ وَلَهۡوٞۚ وَإِن تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ يُؤۡتِكُمۡ أُجُورَكُمۡ وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ
[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties
Život na ovome svijetu je samo igra i zabava! A ako budete vjerovali i grijehe izbjegavali, On će vas nagraditi i imanja vaša od vas neće tražiti.
Muhammad 47:37
إِن يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ تَبۡخَلُواْ وَيُخۡرِجۡ أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness
Ako bi ih od vas tražio i prema vama uporan bio, postali biste škrti i On bi učinio vidljivim vaše mržnje.
Muhammad 47:38
هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدۡعَوۡنَ لِتُنفِقُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبۡخَلُۖ وَمَن يَبۡخَلۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَبۡخَلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓاْ أَمۡثَٰلَكُم
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you
Vi se, eto, pozivate da trošite na Allahovu putu, ali, neki od vas su škrti – a ko škrtari, na svoju štetu škrtari, jer Allah je bogat, a vi ste siromašni. – A ako glave okrenete, On će vas drugim narodom zamijeniti, koji onda kao što ste vi neće biti.
