Surah Ad-Dukhan (44) — The Smoke · الدخان

Meccan surah, 59 ayat.

The smoke, Pharaoh's end, and the blessed night of revelation.

Ad-Dukhan 44:1

حمٓ

Ha, Meem

Hā Mīm.

Ad-Dukhan 44:2

وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ

By the clear Book

Tako Mi Knjige jasne,

Ad-Dukhan 44:3

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ

Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind]

Mi smo počeli da je u Blagoslovljenoj noći objavljujemo – i Mi, doista, opominjemo –

Ad-Dukhan 44:4

فِيهَا يُفۡرَقُ كُلُّ أَمۡرٍ حَكِيمٍ

On that night is made distinct every precise matter

u kojoj se svaki mudri posao riješi

Ad-Dukhan 44:5

أَمۡرٗا مِّنۡ عِندِنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ

[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]

po zapovijedi Našoj! Mi smo, zaista, slali poslanike

Ad-Dukhan 44:6

رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing

kao milost Gospodara tvoga – On, uistinu, sve čuje i sve zna –

Ad-Dukhan 44:7

رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ

Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain

Gospodara nebesa i Zemlje i onoga što je između njih – ako čvrsto vjerujete,

Ad-Dukhan 44:8

لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers

drugog boga osim Njega nema; On život i smrt daje – Gospodara vašeg i Gospodara vaših predaka davnih!

Ad-Dukhan 44:9

بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ

But they are in doubt, amusing themselves

Ali ovi sumnjaju i zabavljaju se,

Ad-Dukhan 44:10

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ يَوۡمَ تَأۡتِي ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٖ مُّبِينٖ

Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke

zato sačekaj dan kad će im se činiti da prema nebu vide vidljiv dim

Ad-Dukhan 44:11

يَغۡشَى ٱلنَّاسَۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

Covering the people; this is a painful torment

koji će ljude prekriti. "Ovo je neizdržljiva patnja!

Ad-Dukhan 44:12

رَّبَّنَا ٱكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُونَ

[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers

Gospodaru naš, otkloni patnju od nas, mi ćemo, sigurno, vjerovati!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:13

أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ وَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ

How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger

A kako će oni pouku primiti, a već im je došao istiniti Poslanik

Ad-Dukhan 44:14

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ وَقَالُواْ مُعَلَّمٞ مَّجۡنُونٌ

Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman

od koga oni glave okreću i govore: "Poučeni – umno poremećeni!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:15

إِنَّا كَاشِفُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ قَلِيلًاۚ إِنَّكُمۡ عَآئِدُونَ

Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief]

Mi ćemo patnju malo-pomalo otklanjati i vi ćete se, sigurno, u mnogobožačku vjeru vratiti;

Ad-Dukhan 44:16

يَوۡمَ نَبۡطِشُ ٱلۡبَطۡشَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ

The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution

ali onog Dana kada ih svom silom zgrabimo, zbilja ćemo ih kazniti.

Ad-Dukhan 44:17

۞وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَجَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ كَرِيمٌ

And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger

Još davno prije njih Mi smo faraonov narod u iskušenje stavili, kada im je bio došao plemeniti poslanik:

Ad-Dukhan 44:18

أَنۡ أَدُّوٓاْ إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ

[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allah. Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger

"Ispunite prema meni ono što ste dužni, o Allahovi robovi, jer ja sam vam poslanik pouzdani,

Ad-Dukhan 44:19

وَأَن لَّا تَعۡلُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ

And [saying], "Be not haughty with Allah. Indeed, I have come to you with clear authority

i ne uzdižite se iznad Allaha, ja vam donosim dokaz očevidni,

Ad-Dukhan 44:20

وَإِنِّي عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمۡ أَن تَرۡجُمُونِ

And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me

i ja se utječem i svome i vašem Gospodaru da me na kamenujete,

Ad-Dukhan 44:21

وَإِن لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُواْ لِي فَٱعۡتَزِلُونِ

But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone

a ako mi ne vjerujete, onda me na miru ostavite!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:22

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ مُّجۡرِمُونَ

And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people

I on pozva u pomoć Gospodara svoga: "Ovo je, doista, narod nevjernički!" –

Ad-Dukhan 44:23

فَأَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيۡلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ

[Allah said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued

"Izvedi noću robove Moje, za vama će potjera poći

Ad-Dukhan 44:24

وَٱتۡرُكِ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ رَهۡوًاۖ إِنَّهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّغۡرَقُونَ

And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned

i ostavi more nek miruje, oni su vojska koja će, zaista, potopljena biti."

Ad-Dukhan 44:25

كَمۡ تَرَكُواْ مِن جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ

How much they left behind of gardens and springs

I koliko ostaviše bašča i izvora,

Ad-Dukhan 44:26

وَزُرُوعٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ

And crops and noble sites

i njiva zasijanih i dvorova divnih,

Ad-Dukhan 44:27

وَنَعۡمَةٖ كَانُواْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ

And comfort wherein they were amused

i zadovoljstava koja su u radosti provodili! –

Ad-Dukhan 44:28

كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ

Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people

tako to bî, i Mi smo to u nasljedstvo drugima ostavili –

Ad-Dukhan 44:29

فَمَا بَكَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنظَرِينَ

And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved

ni nebo ih ni Zemlja nisu oplakivali, i nisu pošteđeni bili,

Ad-Dukhan 44:30

وَلَقَدۡ نَجَّيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِينِ

And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment

a sinove Israilove smo ponižavajuće patnje spasili

Ad-Dukhan 44:31

مِن فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors

od faraona – on je bio gord, jedan od onih koji su u zlu svaku mjeru prevršili –

Ad-Dukhan 44:32

وَلَقَدِ ٱخۡتَرۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds

i znajući kakvi su, između savremenika smo ih odabrali,

Ad-Dukhan 44:33

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَـٰٓؤٞاْ مُّبِينٌ

And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial

i neka znamenja puna očite blagosti smo im dali.

Ad-Dukhan 44:34

إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ

Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying

A ovi, doista, govore:

Ad-Dukhan 44:35

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوۡتَتُنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ

There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected

"Postoji samo naša prva smrt, mi nećemo biti oživljeni;

Ad-Dukhan 44:36

فَأۡتُواْ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful

pretke naše nam dovedite, ako je istina to što govorite!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:37

أَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٖ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ

Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals

Da li su silniji oni ili narod Tubba' i oni prije njega? – njih smo uništili jer su nevjernici bili.

Ad-Dukhan 44:38

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ

And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play

Mi nismo stvorili nebesa i Zemlju i ono što je između njih da bismo se igrali.

Ad-Dukhan 44:39

مَا خَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know

Mi smo ih stvorili sa ciljem, ali većina ovih ne zna.

Ad-Dukhan 44:40

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all

Dan sudnji će svima njima rok određeni biti,

Ad-Dukhan 44:41

يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي مَوۡلًى عَن مَّوۡلٗى شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped

Dan kada bližnji neće nimalo od koristi bližnjem biti i kada sami sebi neće moći pomoći,

Ad-Dukhan 44:42

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

moći će samo oni kojima se Allah smiluje, jer – On je, uistinu, silan i milostiv.

Ad-Dukhan 44:43

إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ

Indeed, the tree of zaqqum

Drvo Zekkum

Ad-Dukhan 44:44

طَعَامُ ٱلۡأَثِيمِ

Is food for the sinful

biće hrana grješniku,

Ad-Dukhan 44:45

كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ يَغۡلِي فِي ٱلۡبُطُونِ

Like murky oil, it boils within bellies

u trbuhu će kao rastopljena kovina vreti,

Ad-Dukhan 44:46

كَغَلۡيِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ

Like the boiling of scalding water

kao što voda kada ključa vri.

Ad-Dukhan 44:47

خُذُوهُ فَٱعۡتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

[It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire

"Ščepajte ga i usred ognja odvucite,

Ad-Dukhan 44:48

ثُمَّ صُبُّواْ فَوۡقَ رَأۡسِهِۦ مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ

Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water

a zatim mu, za kaznu, na glavu ključalu vodu izljevajte!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:49

ذُقۡ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡكَرِيمُ

[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble

"Okušaj, ta ti si, uistinu, 'moćni' i 'poštovani',

Ad-Dukhan 44:50

إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمۡتَرُونَ

Indeed, this is what you used to dispute

ovo je, zaista, ono u što ste sumnjali!"

Ad-Dukhan 44:51

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٖ

Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place

A oni koji su se Allaha bojali, oni će na sigurnu mjestu biti,

Ad-Dukhan 44:52

فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ

Within gardens and springs

usred bašča i izvora,

Ad-Dukhan 44:53

يَلۡبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٖ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other

u dibu i kadifu obučeni i jedni prema drugima.

Ad-Dukhan 44:54

كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ

Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes

Eto, tako će biti i Mi ćemo ih hurijama, krupnih očiju, ženiti.

Ad-Dukhan 44:55

يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ

They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure

U njima će moći sigurno koju hoće vrstu voća tražiti;

Ad-Dukhan 44:56

لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire

u njima, poslije one prve smrti, smrt više neće okusiti i On će ih patnje u ognju sačuvati,

Ad-Dukhan 44:57

فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment

blagodat će to od Gospodara tvoga biti; to će, zaista, biti uspjeh veliki!

Ad-Dukhan 44:58

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded

A Kur'an smo učinili lahkim, na jeziku tvome, da bi oni pouku primili,

Ad-Dukhan 44:59

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ إِنَّهُم مُّرۡتَقِبُونَ

So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]

zato čekaj, i oni će čekati!
