Quran 42:34 — Surah Ash-Shuraa, ayah 34

أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ

Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much
