Surah Saba (34) — Sheba · سبإ
Meccan surah, 54 ayat.
The people of Saba, Dawud and Sulayman — gratitude and denial.
Saba 34:1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted
Neka je hvaljen Allah, čije je sve ono na nebesima i sve ono na Zemlji! Hvaljen neka bude i na onome svijetu! On je Mudri i Sveznajući.
Saba 34:2
يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ
He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving
On zna šta u zemlju ulazi, a šta iz nje izlazi, i šta se s neba spušta, a šta se na nj uspinje; On je samilostan i On prašta grijehe.
Saba 34:3
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَأۡتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُۖ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَآ أَصۡغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكۡبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ
But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allah is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register
A nevjernici govore: "Čas oživljenja nam neće doći!" Reci: "Hoće, tako mi Gospodara moga, koji zna i ono što je skriveno, zacijelo će vam doći." – Njemu ne može ništa, ni trunčica jedna ni na nebesima ni na Zemlji, izmaći, i ne postoji ništa, ni manje ni veće od toga, što nije u jasnoj Knjizi –
Saba 34:4
لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ
That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision
da nagradi one koji vjeruju i dobra djela čine – njih čeka oprost i opskrba plemenita –
Saba 34:5
وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ
But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature
a da kazni najbolnijom patnjom one koji se protiv dokaza Naših bore, nastojeći ih onemogućiti.
Saba 34:6
وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy
Oni kojima je dato znanje dobro znaju da je ono što ti se objavljuje od Gospodara tvoga istina i da vodi na put Silnoga i Hvaljenoga,
Saba 34:7
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ
But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation
dok oni koji ne vjeruju govore: "Hoćete li da vam pokažemo čovjeka koji vam predskazuje da ćete, kada se sasvim raspadnete, zaista, ponovo stvoreni biti?
Saba 34:8
أَفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلۡبَعِيدِ
Has he invented about Allah a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error
Iznosi li on o Allahu laži ili je lud?" Nijedno, već će oni koji u onaj svijet neće da vjeruju na muci biti i u zabludi su velikoj.
Saba 34:9
أَفَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِن نَّشَأۡ نَخۡسِفۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ نُسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّكُلِّ عَبۡدٖ مُّنِيبٖ
Then, do they not look at what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or [could] let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning back [to Allah]
Kako ne vide nebo i Zemlju, ono što je iznad njih i ono što je ispod njih?! Kad bismo htjeli, u zemlju bismo ih utjerali, ili komade neba na njih sručili. To je, zaista, pouka svakome robu koji je odan.
Saba 34:10
۞وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضۡلٗاۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيۡرَۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلۡحَدِيدَ
And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron
Mi smo Davudu Našu milost ukazali – "O brda, ponavljajte zajedno s njim hvalu, i vi ptice!" – i učinili da mu mekahno gvožđe bude.
Saba 34:11
أَنِ ٱعۡمَلۡ سَٰبِغَٰتٖ وَقَدِّرۡ فِي ٱلسَّرۡدِۖ وَٱعۡمَلُواْ صَٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ
[Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing
"Pravi široke pancire i čestito ih pleti!" – i činite dobro, jer Ja vidim šta radite vi.
Saba 34:12
وَلِسُلَيۡمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهۡرٞ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهۡرٞۖ وَأَسَلۡنَا لَهُۥ عَيۡنَ ٱلۡقِطۡرِۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ مَن يَعۡمَلُ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِۦۖ وَمَن يَزِغۡ مِنۡهُمۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِنَا نُذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze
A Sulejmanu – vjetar, ujutro je prevaljivao rastojanje od mjesec dana, a navečer rastojanje od mjesec dana; i učinili smo da mu iz izvora rastopljen bakar teče i da džini, voljom njegova Gospodara, pred njim rade; a kad bi neki od njih otkazao poslušnost naređenju Našem, učinili bismo da ognjenu patnju osjeti.
Saba 34:13
يَعۡمَلُونَ لَهُۥ مَا يَشَآءُ مِن مَّحَٰرِيبَ وَتَمَٰثِيلَ وَجِفَانٖ كَٱلۡجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٖ رَّاسِيَٰتٍۚ ٱعۡمَلُوٓاْ ءَالَ دَاوُۥدَ شُكۡرٗاۚ وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنۡ عِبَادِيَ ٱلشَّكُورُ
They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful
Oni su mu izrađivali što god je htio: hramove i spomenike, i zdjele kao čatrnje, i kotlove nepokretne. "Trudite se i budite zahvalni, o čeljadi Davudova!" – A malo je zahvalnih među robovima Mojim.
Saba 34:14
فَلَمَّا قَضَيۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مَا دَلَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَوۡتِهِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَأۡكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلۡجِنُّ أَن لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ مَا لَبِثُواْ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِينِ
And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment
A kad smo odredili da umre, crv koji je bio rastočio štap njegov – upozorio ih je da je umro, i kad se on srušio, džini shvatiše da ne bi na muci sramnoj ostali da su budućnost prozreti mogli.
Saba 34:15
لَقَدۡ كَانَ لِسَبَإٖ فِي مَسۡكَنِهِمۡ ءَايَةٞۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٖ وَشِمَالٖۖ كُلُواْ مِن رِّزۡقِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَٱشۡكُرُواْ لَهُۥۚ بَلۡدَةٞ طَيِّبَةٞ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٞ
There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord
Stanovnici Sabe imali su dokaz u mjestu u kome su živjeli: vrtove, zdesna i slijeva. "Jedite hranu Gospodara svoga i budite Mu zahvalni; kakav divan kraj i Gospodar koji mnogo prašta!"
Saba 34:16
فَأَعۡرَضُواْ فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَيۡلَ ٱلۡعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلۡنَٰهُم بِجَنَّتَيۡهِمۡ جَنَّتَيۡنِ ذَوَاتَيۡ أُكُلٍ خَمۡطٖ وَأَثۡلٖ وَشَيۡءٖ مِّن سِدۡرٖ قَلِيلٖ
But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees
Ali oni su nezahvalni postali, pa smo na njih poplavu pustili, popuštanjem brana nastalu, i zamijenili im njihove vrtove drugim vrtovima sa plodovima gorkim i tamariskom i neznatnim lotosom divljim.
Saba 34:17
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ
[By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful
Kaznili smo ih tako zato što su bili nezahvalni, a da li Mi kažnjavamo ikoga drugog do nevjernika, nezahvalnika?!
Saba 34:18
وَجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡقُرَى ٱلَّتِي بَٰرَكۡنَا فِيهَا قُرٗى ظَٰهِرَةٗ وَقَدَّرۡنَا فِيهَا ٱلسَّيۡرَۖ سِيرُواْ فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ وَأَيَّامًا ءَامِنِينَ
And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed [many] visible cities. And We determined between them the [distances of] journey, [saying], "Travel between them by night or day in safety
A između njih i gradova koje smo blagoslovili izgradili smo bili naselja povezana i odredili im potrebnu udaljenost. "Putujte kroz njih i po noći i po danu, sigurni!"
Saba 34:19
فَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا بَٰعِدۡ بَيۡنَ أَسۡفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقۡنَٰهُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ
But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful
Ali oni rekoše: "Gospodaru naš, učini veće rastojanje prilikom putovanja naših!" – i ogriješiše se prema sebi, i Mi učinismo da se o njima samo priča, a njih kud koje raselismo. To su, zaista, pouke za svakog strpljivog i zahvalnog.
Saba 34:20
وَلَقَدۡ صَدَّقَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِبۡلِيسُ ظَنَّهُۥ فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
And Iblees had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers
I Iblis se uvjerio da je o njima ispravno mislio, i oni su se poveli za njim, osim nekolicine vjernika
Saba 34:21
وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِمَّنۡ هُوَ مِنۡهَا فِي شَكّٖۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَفِيظٞ
And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian
nad kojima nikakve vlasti nije imao; Mi smo htjeli ukazati na onoga ko vjeruje u onaj svijet, a ko u njega sumnja. – A Gospodar tvoj bdi nad svim.
Saba 34:22
قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرۡكٖ وَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٖ
Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant
Reci: "Zovite one koje, pored Allaha, bogovima smatrate. Oni ništa nemaju, ni koliko trun jedan, ni na nebesima ni na Zemlji; oni u njima nemaju nikakva udjela i On nema od njih nikakve pomoći."
Saba 34:23
وَلَا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِمَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُۥۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَن قُلُوبِهِمۡ قَالُواْ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡۖ قَالُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand
Kod Njega će se moći zauzimati za nekoga samo onaj kome On dopusti. I kad iz srca njihovih nestane straha, oni će upitati: "Šta je to rekao Gospodar vaš?" – "Istinu!" – odgovoriće. On je uzvišen i velik.
Saba 34:24
۞قُلۡ مَن يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ وَإِنَّآ أَوۡ إِيَّاكُمۡ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوۡ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error
Upitaj: "Ko vas opskrbljuje i iz neba i iz zemlje?" – i odgovori: "Allah! Da li smo onda mi ili vi na Pravome putu, ili u očitoj zabludi?"
Saba 34:25
قُل لَّا تُسۡـَٔلُونَ عَمَّآ أَجۡرَمۡنَا وَلَا نُسۡـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ
Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do
Reci: "Vi nećete odgovarati za grijehe koje mi počinimo niti ćemo mi odgovarati za ono što uradite vi."
Saba 34:26
قُلۡ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفۡتَحُ بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُوَ ٱلۡفَتَّاحُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
Say, "Our Lord will bring us together; then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Knowing Judge
Reci: "Gospodar naš će nas sabrati i onda nam pravedno presuditi, On je sudija Pravedni, Sveznajući."
Saba 34:27
قُلۡ أَرُونِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَلۡحَقۡتُم بِهِۦ شُرَكَآءَۖ كَلَّاۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Say, "Show me those whom you have attached to Him as partners. No! Rather, He [alone] is Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise
Reci: "Pokažite mi one koje smatrate Njemu ravnim!" – Nema ih; postoji samo Allah, Silni i Mudri!
Saba 34:28
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا كَآفَّةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know
Mi smo te poslali svima ljudima da radosne vijesti donosiš i da opominješ, ali većina ljudi ne zna
Saba 34:29
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful
i govore: "Kad će već jednom ta prijetnja, ako istinu govorite?"
Saba 34:30
قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوۡمٖ لَّا تَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ عَنۡهُ سَاعَةٗ وَلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ
Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it]
Reci: "Dan vam je već određen, ne možete ga ni za čas jedan zaustaviti niti ubrzati."
Saba 34:31
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَلَا بِٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِۗ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ مَوۡقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ يَرۡجِعُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أَنتُمۡ لَكُنَّا مُؤۡمِنِينَ
And those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an nor in that before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each other's words... Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers
A oni koji ne vjeruju govore: "Mi nećemo vjerovati u ovaj Kur'an niti u one prije njega!" A kada bi samo vidio kad onī koji su učinili zlo pred Gospodarom svojim budu zadržani i kad stanu među sobom razgovarati: "Da vâs nije bilo, sigurno bismo bili vjernici" – reći će oni koji su tlačeni bili onima koji su bili oholi.
Saba 34:32
قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُوٓاْ أَنَحۡنُ صَدَدۡنَٰكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَآءَكُمۖ بَلۡ كُنتُم مُّجۡرِمِينَ
Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals
"A zar smo vas mi od Pravoga puta odvratili nakon što vam je bilo na njega ukazano? Ne, sami ste vi grješnici bili" – reći će oni koji su bili oholi onima koji su bili tlačeni.
Saba 34:33
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ بَلۡ مَكۡرُ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذۡ تَأۡمُرُونَنَآ أَن نَّكۡفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَنَجۡعَلَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادٗاۚ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ فِيٓ أَعۡنَاقِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ هَلۡ يُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do
"Nije bilo tako" – odgovoriće oni koji su bili tlačeni onima koji su bili oholi – "nego ste danju i noću spletkarili kad ste od nas tražili da u Allaha ne vjerujemo i da Mu druge jednakim smatramo." I svi će prikriti tugu kad vide da će kažnjeni biti, a Mi ćemo na vratove nevjernika sindžire staviti; zar će biti kažnjeni drukčije nego prema onome kako su radili?
Saba 34:34
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ
And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers
Mi ni u jedan grad nismo poslanika poslali, a da nisu rekli oni koji su na raskošan život bili navikli: "Ne vjerujemo mi u ono što je po vama poslano!" –
Saba 34:35
وَقَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَكۡثَرُ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished
i da nisu govorili: "Imamo više imetka i djece; mi nećemo biti mučeni!"
Saba 34:36
قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know
Reci: "Gospodar moj daje obilnu opskrbu onome kome hoće, a i uskraćuje, ali, većina ljudi ne zna.
Saba 34:37
وَمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِي تُقَرِّبُكُمۡ عِندَنَا زُلۡفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنۡ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعۡفِ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡغُرُفَٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ
And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure]
Ni bogatstva vaša ni djeca vaša neće vas učiniti Nama bliskim; samo one koji budu vjerovali i dobra djela činili čeka višestruka nagrada za ono što su radili, i oni će u visokim odajama biti sigurni.
Saba 34:38
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ
And the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]
A oni koji se budu trudili da se dokazima Našim suprotstave, da ih onemoguće, oni će biti kažnjeni."
Saba 34:39
قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهُۥۚ وَمَآ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰزِقِينَ
Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers
Reci: "Gospodar moj daje obilnu opskrbu onome kome hoće od robova Svojih, a kome hoće uskraćuje; što god vi udijelite, On će to nadoknaditi, On najbolje opskrbljuje."
Saba 34:40
وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِيَّاكُمۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ
And [mention] the Day when He will gather them all and then say to the angels, "Did these [people] used to worship you
A na Dan kad ih sve sabere, pa meleke upita: "Zar su se ovi vama klanjali?"
Saba 34:41
قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِمۖ بَلۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ ٱلۡجِنَّۖ أَكۡثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤۡمِنُونَ
They will say, "Exalted are You! You, [O Allah], are our benefactor not them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them
oni će odgovoriti: "Hvaljen neka si, Ti si Gospodar naš, između nas i njih nije bilo prijateljstva; oni su se džinima pokoravali i većina njih je vjerovala u njih."
Saba 34:42
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يَمۡلِكُ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ نَّفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
But today you do not hold for one another [the power of] benefit or harm, and We will say to those who wronged, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny
Toga Dana jedni drugima nećete moći ni koristiti ni nauditi, a Mi ćemo onima koji su se prema sebi ogriješili reći: "Trpite patnju u vatri koju ste poricali!"
Saba 34:43
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا رَجُلٞ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمۡ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ وَقَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفۡكٞ مُّفۡتَرٗىۚ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ
And when our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping." And they say, "This is not except a lie invented." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic
Kad im se Naši jasni ajeti kazuju, oni govore: "Ovaj čovjek samo hoće da vas odvrati od onoga čemu su se vaši preci klanjali", i govore: "Ovo nije ništa drugo nego izmišljena laž!" A oni koji ne vjeruju govore o Istini kada im dolazi: "Ovo nije ništa drugo nego očito vračanje!"
Saba 34:44
وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّن كُتُبٖ يَدۡرُسُونَهَاۖ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَبۡلَكَ مِن نَّذِيرٖ
And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muhammad], any warner
A Mi im nismo dali nikakve knjige da ih izučavaju i Mi im, prije tebe, nismo bili poslali nekoga ko bi ih opominjao.
Saba 34:45
وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَمَا بَلَغُواْ مِعۡشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُواْ رُسُلِيۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach
A i oni prije njih su poslanike u laž ugonili, a ovi nisu postigli ni deseti dio onoga što smo onima bili dali, pa su ipak poslanike Moje lažnim smatrali, i kakva je samo bila kazna Moja!
Saba 34:46
۞قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَعِظُكُم بِوَٰحِدَةٍۖ أَن تَقُومُواْ لِلَّهِ مَثۡنَىٰ وَفُرَٰدَىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُواْۚ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُم مِّن جِنَّةٍۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ لَّكُم بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ عَذَابٖ شَدِيدٖ
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment
Reci: "Ja vam savjetujem samo jedno: ustanite iskreno prema Allahu, dvojica po dvojica, ili jedan po jedan, pa zatim razmislite da drug vaš nije lud. On vas samo prije teške patnje opominje."
Saba 34:47
قُلۡ مَا سَأَلۡتُكُم مِّنۡ أَجۡرٖ فَهُوَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٞ
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness
Reci: "Kakvu god nagradu da zatražim od vas, nek ostane vama, mene će nagraditi Allah, On nad svim bdi."
Saba 34:48
قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَقۡذِفُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلۡغُيُوبِ
Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen
Reci: "Gospodar moj pobjeđuje istinom, On dobro zna i sve ono što je veoma skriveno."
Saba 34:49
قُلۡ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَمَا يُبۡدِئُ ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ
Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]
Reci: "Došla je istina, a laži je nestalo!"
Saba 34:50
قُلۡ إِن ضَلَلۡتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِيۖ وَإِنِ ٱهۡتَدَيۡتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِيٓ إِلَيَّ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٞ قَرِيبٞ
Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near
Reci: "Ako zalutam, zalutao sam na svoju štetu, a ako sam na Pravome putu, to je zbog onoga što mi Gospodar moj objavljuje; On zaista sve čuje i blizu je."
Saba 34:51
وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ فَزِعُواْ فَلَا فَوۡتَ وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٖ قَرِيبٖ
And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby
A da ti je vidjeti kad ih strava uhvati – umaći neće moći; izbliza biće ščepani –
Saba 34:52
وَقَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ
And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away
i kada reknu: "Vjerujemo u Poslanika!" A šta će im biti od koristi kad je život na Zemlji bio i prošao!
Saba 34:53
وَقَدۡ كَفَرُواْ بِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَيَقۡذِفُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ
And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away
U njega oni nisu prije vjerovali, govorili su ono što nije poznato, što je od istine daleko;
Saba 34:54
وَحِيلَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ مَا يَشۡتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبۡلُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ فِي شَكّٖ مُّرِيبِۭ
And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial
i između njih i onoga što budu željeli biće prepreka postavljena kao što je prije bilo učinjeno sa njima sličnim, jer su svi oni, doista, mnogo sumnjali.
