Meccan surah, 88 ayat.

Musa's life from infancy to prophethood, and Qarun's downfall.

Al-Qasas 28:2

تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ

These are the verses of the clear Book

Ovo su ajeti Knjige jasne!

Al-Qasas 28:3

نَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe

Mi ćemo ti kazati neke vijesti o Musau i faraonu, onako kako je bilo, i to za one ljude koji vjeruju.

Al-Qasas 28:4

إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعٗا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآئِفَةٗ مِّنۡهُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters

Faraon se u zemlji bio ponio i stanovnike njezine na stranke bio izdijelio; jedne je tlačio, mušku im djecu klao, a žensku u životu ostavljao, doista je smutljivac bio.

Al-Qasas 28:5

وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors

A Mi smo htjeli da one koji su na Zemlji tlačeni milošću obaspemo i da ih vođama i nasljednicima učinimo,

Al-Qasas 28:6

وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنُرِيَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَحۡذَرُونَ

And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared

i da im na Zemlji vlast darujemo, a da faraonu i Hamanu i vojskama njihovim damo da dožive baš ono zbog čega su od njih strahovali.

Al-Qasas 28:7

وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَرۡضِعِيهِۖ فَإِذَا خِفۡتِ عَلَيۡهِ فَأَلۡقِيهِ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحۡزَنِيٓۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيۡكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And We inspired to the mother of Moses, "Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers

I Mi nadahnusmo Musaovu majku: "Doji ga, a kad se uplašiš za njegov život, baci ga u rijeku, i ne strahuj i ne tuguj, Mi ćemo ti ga, doista, vratiti i poslanikom ga učiniti."

Al-Qasas 28:8

فَٱلۡتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمۡ عَدُوّٗا وَحَزَنًاۗ إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُواْ خَٰطِـِٔينَ

And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners

I nađoše ga faraonovi ljudi, da im postane dušmanin i jad; – zaista su faraon i Haman i vojske njihove uvijek griješili.

Al-Qasas 28:9

وَقَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قُرَّتُ عَيۡنٖ لِّي وَلَكَۖ لَا تَقۡتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not

I žena faraonova reče: "On će biti radost i meni i tebi! Ne ubijte ga, možda će nam od koristi biti, a možemo ga i posiniti." A oni ništa ne predosjetiše.

Al-Qasas 28:10

وَأَصۡبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًاۖ إِن كَادَتۡ لَتُبۡدِي بِهِۦ لَوۡلَآ أَن رَّبَطۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

And the heart of Moses' mother became empty [of all else]. She was about to disclose [the matter concerning] him had We not bound fast her heart that she would be of the believers

I srce Musaove majke ostade prazno, umalo ga ne prokaza, da Mi srce njeno nismo učvrstili i vjernicom je učinili.

Al-Qasas 28:11

وَقَالَتۡ لِأُخۡتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِۖ فَبَصُرَتۡ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

And she said to his sister, "Follow him"; so she watched him from a distance while they perceived not

I ona reče sestri njegovoj: "Idi za njim!" I ona ga ugleda izdaleka, a oni nisu bili ništa primijetili.

Al-Qasas 28:12

۞وَحَرَّمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَقَالَتۡ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِ بَيۡتٖ يَكۡفُلُونَهُۥ لَكُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُۥ نَٰصِحُونَ

And We had prevented from him [all] wet nurses before, so she said, "Shall I direct you to a household that will be responsible for him for you while they are to him [for his upbringing] sincere

A Mi smo mu već bili zabranili dojilje, pa ona reče: "Hoćete li da vam ja pokažem porodicu koja će vam se o njemu brinuti i koja će mu dobro željeti?"

Al-Qasas 28:13

فَرَدَدۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّهِۦ كَيۡ تَقَرَّ عَيۡنُهَا وَلَا تَحۡزَنَ وَلِتَعۡلَمَ أَنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know

I vratismo ga majci njegovoj da se raduje i da ne tuguje, i da se uvjeri da je Allahovo obećanje istinito; ali većina njih ne zna.

Al-Qasas 28:14

وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

And when he attained his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We bestowed upon him judgement and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good

I kad se on opasa snagom i stasa, dadosmo mu mudrost i znanje; tako Mi nagrađujemo one koji dobra djela čine.

Al-Qasas 28:15

وَدَخَلَ ٱلۡمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيۡنِ يَقۡتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَٰذَا مِنۡ عَدُوِّهِۦۖ فَٱسۡتَغَٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِي مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِي مِنۡ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَوَكَزَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنۡ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ مُّضِلّٞ مُّبِينٞ

And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting: one from his faction and one from among his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and [unintentionally] killed him. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy

I on uđe u grad neopažen od stanovnika njegovih i u njemu zateče dvojicu ljudi kako se tuku, jedan je pripadao njegovu, a drugi neprijateljskom narodu, pa ga zovnu u pomoć onaj iz njegova naroda protiv onog iz neprijateljskog naroda, i Musa ga udari šakom i – usmrti. "Ovo je šejtanov posao!" – uzviknu – "on je, zaista, otvoreni neprijatelj koji u zabludu dovodi!

Al-Qasas 28:16

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِي فَٱغۡفِرۡ لِي فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

He said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me," and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful

Gospodaru moj" – reče onda – "ja sam sâm sebi zlo nanio, oprosti mi!" I On mu oprosti, On, uistinu, prašta i On je milostiv.

Al-Qasas 28:17

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَنۡ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرٗا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

He said, "My Lord, for the favor You bestowed upon me, I will never be an assistant to the criminals

"Gospodaru moj" – reče – "tako mi blagodati koju si mi ukazao, više nikada nevjernicima neću biti od pomoći!"

Al-Qasas 28:18

فَأَصۡبَحَ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ خَآئِفٗا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِي ٱسۡتَنصَرَهُۥ بِٱلۡأَمۡسِ يَسۡتَصۡرِخُهُۥۚ قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيّٞ مُّبِينٞ

And he became inside the city fearful and anticipating [exposure], when suddenly the one who sought his help the previous day cried out to him [once again]. Moses said to him, "Indeed, you are an evident, [persistent] deviator

I Musa u gradu osvanu prestrašen, očekujući šta će biti, kad ga onaj isti od jučer pozva ponovo u pomoć. "Ti si, zbilja, u pravoj zabludi!" – reče mu Musa,

Al-Qasas 28:19

فَلَمَّآ أَنۡ أَرَادَ أَن يَبۡطِشَ بِٱلَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوّٞ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقۡتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسَۢا بِٱلۡأَمۡسِۖ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِينَ

And when he wanted to strike the one who was an enemy to both of them, he said, "O Moses, do you intend to kill me as you killed someone yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land and do not want to be of the amenders

i kad htjede ščepati zajedničkog im neprijatelja, reče mu onaj: "O Musa, zar ćeš ubiti i mene kao što si jučer ubio čovjeka? Ti hoćeš da na zemlji silu provodiš, a ne želiš da miriš."

Al-Qasas 28:20

وَجَآءَ رَجُلٞ مِّنۡ أَقۡصَا ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَلَأَ يَأۡتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقۡتُلُوكَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّـٰصِحِينَ

And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors

I jedan čovjek s kraja grada dotrča: "O Musa" – reče – "glavešine se dogovaraju da te ubiju; zato bježi, ja sam ti zbilja iskren savjetnik."

Al-Qasas 28:21

فَخَرَجَ مِنۡهَا خَآئِفٗا يَتَرَقَّبُۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

So he left it, fearful and anticipating [apprehension]. He said, "My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people

I Musa iziđe iz grada, ustrašen, iščekujući šta će se desiti. "Gospodaru moj" – reče – "spasi me naroda koji ne vjeruje!"

Al-Qasas 28:22

وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلۡقَآءَ مَدۡيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّيٓ أَن يَهۡدِيَنِي سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

And when he directed himself toward Madyan, he said, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way

I kad se uputi prema Medjenu, on reče: "Gospodar moj će mi pokazati Pravi put!"

Al-Qasas 28:23

وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَآءَ مَدۡيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيۡهِ أُمَّةٗ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمۡرَأَتَيۡنِ تَذُودَانِۖ قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُمَاۖ قَالَتَا لَا نَسۡقِي حَتَّىٰ يُصۡدِرَ ٱلرِّعَآءُۖ وَأَبُونَا شَيۡخٞ كَبِيرٞ

And when he came to the well of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people watering [their flocks], and he found aside from them two women driving back [their flocks]. He said, "What is your circumstance?" They said, "We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man

A kad stiže do vode medjenske, zateče oko nje mnoge ljude kako napajaju stoku, a malo podalje od njih ugleda dvije žene koje su je od vode odbijale. "Šta vi radite?" – upita on. "Mi ne napajamo dok čobani ne odu" – odgovoriše one – "a otac nam je veoma star."

Al-Qasas 28:24

فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ إِلَيَّ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ فَقِيرٞ

So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need

I on im je napoji, a onda ode u hladovinu i reče: "Gospodaru moj, ma kakvu mi hranu dao, zaista mi je potrebna!"

Al-Qasas 28:25

فَجَآءَتۡهُ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا تَمۡشِي عَلَى ٱسۡتِحۡيَآءٖ قَالَتۡ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدۡعُوكَ لِيَجۡزِيَكَ أَجۡرَ مَا سَقَيۡتَ لَنَاۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفۡۖ نَجَوۡتَ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people

I jedna od njih dvije dođe mu, poslije, idući stidljivo i reče: "Otac moj te zove da te nagradi zato što si nam stoku napojio!" I kad mu on dođe i kaza mu šta je doživio, on reče: "Ne strahuj, spasio si se naroda koji ne vjeruje!"

Al-Qasas 28:26

قَالَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡجِرۡهُۖ إِنَّ خَيۡرَ مَنِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡجَرۡتَ ٱلۡقَوِيُّ ٱلۡأَمِينُ

One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy

"O oče moj" – reče jedna od njih – "uzmi ga u najam, najbolje je da unajmiš snažna i pouzdana."

Al-Qasas 28:27

قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُرِيدُ أَنۡ أُنكِحَكَ إِحۡدَى ٱبۡنَتَيَّ هَٰتَيۡنِ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَأۡجُرَنِي ثَمَٰنِيَ حِجَجٖۖ فَإِنۡ أَتۡمَمۡتَ عَشۡرٗا فَمِنۡ عِندِكَۖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنۡ أَشُقَّ عَلَيۡكَۚ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous

"Ja želim da te oženim jednom od ove dvije kćeri moje" – reče on – "ali trebaš me osam godina služiti; a ako deset napuniš, biće dobra volja tvoja, a ja ne želim da te na to silim; ti ćeš vidjeti, ako Bog da, da sam dobar."

Al-Qasas 28:28

قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكَۖ أَيَّمَا ٱلۡأَجَلَيۡنِ قَضَيۡتُ فَلَا عُدۡوَٰنَ عَلَيَّۖ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٞ

[Moses] said, "That is [established] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness

"Neka bude tako između mene i tebe!" – reče Musa – "koji god od ta dva roka ispunim, nema mi se šta prigovoriti, a Allah je jamac za ono što smo utanačili."

Al-Qasas 28:29

۞فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهۡلِهِۦٓ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ نَارٗاۖ قَالَ لِأَهۡلِهِ ٱمۡكُثُوٓاْ إِنِّيٓ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارٗا لَّعَلِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنۡهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوۡ جَذۡوَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَصۡطَلُونَ

And when Moses had completed the term and was traveling with his family, he perceived from the direction of the mount a fire. He said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire. Perhaps I will bring you from there [some] information or burning wood from the fire that you may warm yourselves

I kad Musa ispuni ugovoreni rok i krenu sa čeljadi svojom, on ugleda vatru na jednoj strani brda. "Pričekajte!" – reče čeljadi svojoj – "vidio sam vatru, možda ću vam od nje kakvu vijest donijeti, ili zapaljenu glavnju, da se ogrijete."

Al-Qasas 28:30

فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِيَ مِن شَٰطِيِٕ ٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡأَيۡمَنِ فِي ٱلۡبُقۡعَةِ ٱلۡمُبَٰرَكَةِ مِنَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ أَن يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

But when he came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley in a blessed spot - from the tree, "O Moses, indeed I am Allah, Lord of the worlds

A kad dođe do vatre, neko ga zovnu s desne strane doline, iz stabla, u blagoslovljenom kraju: "O Musa, Ja sam – Allah, Gospodar svjetova!

Al-Qasas 28:31

وَأَنۡ أَلۡقِ عَصَاكَۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهَا تَهۡتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَآنّٞ وَلَّىٰ مُدۡبِرٗا وَلَمۡ يُعَقِّبۡۚ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَقۡبِلۡ وَلَا تَخَفۡۖ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأٓمِنِينَ

And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure

Baci štap svoj!" I kad vidje da se poput hitre zmije kreće, on uzmače i ne vrati se. "O Musa, priđi i ne boj se, sigurno ti se nikakvo zlo dogoditi neće!

Al-Qasas 28:32

ٱسۡلُكۡ يَدَكَ فِي جَيۡبِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَيۡضَآءَ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ سُوٓءٖ وَٱضۡمُمۡ إِلَيۡكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ ٱلرَّهۡبِۖ فَذَٰنِكَ بُرۡهَٰنَانِ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِيْهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ

Insert your hand into the opening of your garment; it will come out white, without disease. And draw in your arm close to you [as prevention] from fear, for those are two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his establishment. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient

Uvuci svoju ruku u njedra svoja, pojaviće se bijela, a bez mahane, i priberi se tako od straha! To su dva dokaza od Gospodara tvoga faraonu i glavešinama njegovim; oni su, zaista, narod raskalašeni."

Al-Qasas 28:33

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي قَتَلۡتُ مِنۡهُمۡ نَفۡسٗا فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقۡتُلُونِ

He said, "My Lord, indeed, I killed from among them someone, and I fear they will kill me

"Gospodaru moj" – reče – "ja sam ubio jednog njihovog čovjeka, pa se bojim da i oni mene ne ubiju.

Al-Qasas 28:34

وَأَخِي هَٰرُونُ هُوَ أَفۡصَحُ مِنِّي لِسَانٗا فَأَرۡسِلۡهُ مَعِيَ رِدۡءٗا يُصَدِّقُنِيٓۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in tongue, so send him with me as support, verifying me. Indeed, I fear that they will deny me

A moj brat Harun je rječitiji od mene, pa pošalji sa mnom i njega kao pomoćnika da potvrđuje riječi moje, jer se bojim da me ne nazovu lašcem."

Al-Qasas 28:35

قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجۡعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيۡكُمَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۚ أَنتُمَا وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكُمَا ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

[Allah] said, "We will strengthen your arm through your brother and grant you both supremacy so they will not reach you. [It will be] through Our signs; you and those who follow you will be the predominant

"Pomoći ćemo te bratom tvojim" – reče On – "i obojici ćemo vlast dati, pa vam se oni neće usuditi prići; s Našim znamenjima vas dvojica i oni koji vas budu slijedili postaćete pobjednici."

Al-Qasas 28:36

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّفۡتَرٗى وَمَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِيٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

But when Moses came to them with Our signs as clear evidences, they said, "This is not except invented magic, and we have not heard of this [religion] among our forefathers

I kada im Musa donese Naše jasne dokaze, oni povikaše: "Ovo je samo smišljena čarolija; nismo čuli da se ovako nešto dešavalo u doba predaka naših!"

Al-Qasas 28:37

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ مِنۡ عِندِهِۦ وَمَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

And Moses said, "My Lord is more knowing [than we or you] of who has come with guidance from Him and to whom will be succession in the home. Indeed, wrongdoers do not succeed

"Gospodar moj dobro zna onoga koji donosi uputstvo od Njega" – reče Musa – "onoga koji će na kraju pobijediti, a nevjernici doista neće uspjeti!"

Al-Qasas 28:38

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمۡتُ لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرِي فَأَوۡقِدۡ لِي يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجۡعَل لِّي صَرۡحٗا لَّعَلِّيٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

And Pharaoh said, "O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars

"O velikaši" – reče faraon – "ja ne znam da vi imate drugog boga osim mene, a ti, o Hamane, peci mi opeke i sagradi mi toranj da se popnem k Musaovu Bogu, jer ja mislim da je on, zaista, lažac!"

Al-Qasas 28:39

وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡنَا لَا يُرۡجَعُونَ

And he was arrogant, he and his soldiers, in the land, without right, and they thought that they would not be returned to Us

A on i vojske njegove bijahu se bez ikakva osnova ponijeli na Zemlji i mislili su da Nam neće biti vraćeni,

Al-Qasas 28:40

فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

So We took him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers

pa Mi dohvatismo i njega i vojske njegove i u more ih bacismo; pogledaj kako su skončali nevjernici!

Al-Qasas 28:41

وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ يَدۡعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ

And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped

A bili smo ih učinili vođama koji su pozivali u ono zbog čega se ide u vatru – a na Sudnjem danu niko im neće pomoći –

Al-Qasas 28:42

وَأَتۡبَعۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعۡنَةٗۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَقۡبُوحِينَ

And We caused to overtake them in this world a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be of the despised

i popratismo ih prokletstvom na ovome svijetu, a na onome svijetu biće od svakog dobra udaljeni.

Al-Qasas 28:43

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡقُرُونَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ بَصَآئِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

And We gave Moses the Scripture, after We had destroyed the former generations, as enlightenment for the people and guidance and mercy that they might be reminded

I Mi smo Musau Knjigu dali, nakon što smo drevne narode uništili, da bude svjetlo ljudima i uputstvo i milost – da bi sebi došli.

Al-Qasas 28:44

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلۡغَرۡبِيِّ إِذۡ قَضَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَمۡرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

And you, [O Muhammad], were not on the western side [of the mount] when We revealed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses [to that]

Ti nisi bio na zapadnoj strani kada smo Musau poslanstvo povjerili, a nisi bio ni njegov savremenik.

Al-Qasas 28:45

وَلَٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَا قُرُونٗا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيٗا فِيٓ أَهۡلِ مَدۡيَنَ تَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ

But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message]

Mi smo mnoge narode podigli i oni su dugo živjeli; a ti nisi boravio među stanovnicima Medjena da im kazuješ riječi Naše, nego ti Mi o njima kazujemo vijesti.

Al-Qasas 28:46

وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ إِذۡ نَادَيۡنَا وَلَٰكِن رَّحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

And you were not at the side of the mount when We called [Moses] but [were sent] as a mercy from your Lord to warn a people to whom no warner had come before you that they might be reminded

Ti nisi bio pored brda kad smo Musaa pozvali, ali Mi smo te poslali kao milost Gospodara tvoga da opominješ ljude kojima prije tebe nije došao niko ko bi ih opomenuo, da bi se opametili,

Al-Qasas 28:47

وَلَوۡلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ فَيَقُولُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَآ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَيۡنَا رَسُولٗا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

And if not that a disaster should strike them for what their hands put forth [of sins] and they would say, "Our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses and been among the believers

i da ne reknu kad ih kazna stigne zbog onoga što su počinili: "Gospodaru naš, zašto nam nisi poslao poslanika, pa da dokaze Tvoje slijedimo i vjernici budemo?"

Al-Qasas 28:48

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِنۡ عِندِنَا قَالُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُوتِيَ مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفُرُواْ بِمَآ أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبۡلُۖ قَالُواْ سِحۡرَانِ تَظَٰهَرَا وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِكُلّٖ كَٰفِرُونَ

But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, "Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?" Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said, "[They are but] two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both, disbelievers

A kad im dolazi Istina od Nas, oni govore: "Zašto mu nije dato onako isto kao što je dato Musau?" A zar oni još davno nisu porekli ono što je Musau dato? Oni govore: "Dvije čarolije, jedna drugu podržava" – i govore: "Mi ni u jednu ne vjerujemo."

Al-Qasas 28:49

قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبٖ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمَآ أَتَّبِعۡهُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Say, "Then bring a scripture from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful

Reci: "Pa donesite vi od Allaha knjigu koja bolje nego ove dvije na Pravi put upućuje, nju bih slijedio, ako istinu govorite!"

Al-Qasas 28:50

فَإِن لَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَكَ فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَمَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيۡرِ هُدٗى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people

Pa ako ti se ne odazovu, onda znaj da se oni povode jedino za strastima svojim. A zar je iko gore zalutao od onoga koji slijedi strast svoju, a ne Allahovu uputu? Allah, doista, neće ukazati na Pravi put narodu koji sam sebi nepravdu čini.

Al-Qasas 28:51

۞وَلَقَدۡ وَصَّلۡنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

And We have [repeatedly] conveyed to them the Qur'an that they might be reminded

A Mi objavljujemo sve riječ po riječ, da bi razmislili.

Al-Qasas 28:52

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ هُم بِهِۦ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it - they are believers in it

Oni kojima smo dali Knjigu prije Kur'ana, vjeruju u nj,

Al-Qasas 28:53

وَإِذَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مُسۡلِمِينَ

And when it is recited to them, they say, "We have believed in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were, [even] before it, Muslims [submitting to Allah]

a kad im se kazuje, govore: "Mi vjerujemo u nj, on je istina od Gospodara našeg, mi smo i prije bili muslimani."

Al-Qasas 28:54

أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤۡتَوۡنَ أَجۡرَهُم مَّرَّتَيۡنِ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَيَدۡرَءُونَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ

Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend

Oni će dobiti dvostruku nagradu zato što trpe i što lijepim zlo uzvraćaju i što od onoga što im dajemo udjeljuju;

Al-Qasas 28:55

وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ ٱللَّغۡوَ أَعۡرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ وَقَالُواْ لَنَآ أَعۡمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَا نَبۡتَغِي ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant

a kada čuju besmislicu kakvu, od nje se okrenu i reknu: "Nama naša djela, a vama vaša djela; mir vama! Mi ne želimo društvo neukih."

Al-Qasas 28:56

إِنَّكَ لَا تَهۡدِي مَنۡ أَحۡبَبۡتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ

Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided

Ti, doista, ne možeš uputiti na Pravi put onoga koga ti želiš uputiti – Allah ukazuje na Pravi put onome kome On hoće, i On dobro zna one koji će Pravim putem poći.

Al-Qasas 28:57

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِن نَّتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ مَعَكَ نُتَخَطَّفۡ مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَآۚ أَوَلَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّهُمۡ حَرَمًا ءَامِنٗا يُجۡبَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ ثَمَرَٰتُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ رِّزۡقٗا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

And they say, "If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land." Have we not established for them a safe sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know

Oni govore: "Ako s tobom budemo Pravi put slijedili, bićemo brzo iz rodnog kraja protjerani." Zar im Mi ne pružamo priliku da borave u svetom i sigurnom mjestu gdje se, kao Naš dar, slivaju plodovi svakovrsni; međutim, većina njih ne zna.

Al-Qasas 28:58

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةِۭ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِيشَتَهَاۖ فَتِلۡكَ مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡكَن مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗاۖ وَكُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ

And how many a city have We destroyed that was insolent in its [way of] living, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except briefly. And it is We who were the inheritors

A koliko smo Mi sela i gradova uništili čiji su stanovnici u životu obijesni bili! Eno domova njihovih, malo ko, poslije njih, navrati u njih, Nama su ostali.

Al-Qasas 28:59

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡعَثَ فِيٓ أُمِّهَا رَسُولٗا يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَاۚ وَمَا كُنَّا مُهۡلِكِي ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا وَأَهۡلُهَا ظَٰلِمُونَ

And never would your Lord have destroyed the cities until He had sent to their mother a messenger reciting to them Our verses. And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers

A Gospodar tvoj nikada nije naselja uništavao dok u njihov glavni grad poslanika ne bi poslao, koji im je dokaze Naše kazivao. I Mi smo samo onda naselja uništavali kad su stanovnici njihovi nasilnici bili.

Al-Qasas 28:60

وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَزِينَتُهَاۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

And whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason

Sve što vam je darovano samo su naslade i ukrasi u životu na ovome svijetu; a ono što je u Allaha bolje je i trajno je. Zašto se ne opametite?

Al-Qasas 28:61

أَفَمَن وَعَدۡنَٰهُ وَعۡدًا حَسَنٗا فَهُوَ لَٰقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُ مَتَٰعَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ

Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will obtain like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]

Kako može biti jednak onaj kome smo lijepu nagradu obećali, i koju će dobiti, i onaj kome smo dali da se naslađuje u životu na ovome svijetu, a koji će, poslije, na onome svijetu u vatru ubačen biti?

Al-Qasas 28:62

وَيَوۡمَ يُنَادِيهِمۡ فَيَقُولُ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآءِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are My 'partners' which you used to claim

A na Dan kad ih On pozove i upita: "Gdje su oni koje ste Meni ravnim smatrali?" –

Al-Qasas 28:63

قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ رَبَّنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَغۡوَيۡنَآ أَغۡوَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كَمَا غَوَيۡنَاۖ تَبَرَّأۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَۖ مَا كَانُوٓاْ إِيَّانَا يَعۡبُدُونَ

Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us

reći će onī na kojima će se riječ obistiniti: "Gospodaru naš, ove što smo na stranputicu naveli – naveli smo zato što smo i sami na stranputici bili; mi ih se pred Tobom odričemo, oni se nama nisu klanjali."

Al-Qasas 28:64

وَقِيلَ ٱدۡعُواْ شُرَكَآءَكُمۡ فَدَعَوۡهُمۡ فَلَمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَهُمۡ وَرَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ لَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ يَهۡتَدُونَ

And it will be said, "Invoke your 'partners' " and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance

"Pozovite božanstva vaša!" – reći će im se, pa će ih oni pozivati, ali im se ona neće odazvati, i patnju će doživjeti i zažaliće što na Pravom putu nisu bili.

Al-Qasas 28:65

وَيَوۡمَ يُنَادِيهِمۡ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أَجَبۡتُمُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

And [mention] the Day He will call them and say, "What did you answer the messengers

A na Dan kad ih On pozove i upita: "Šta ste poslanicima odgovorili?" –

Al-Qasas 28:66

فَعَمِيَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَهُمۡ لَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

But the information will be unapparent to them that Day, so they will not [be able to] ask one another

toga Dana oni neće znati šta će odgovoriti, pa ni jedan drugog neće ništa pitati.

Al-Qasas 28:67

فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَعَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحِينَ

But as for one who had repented, believed, and done righteousness, it is promised by Allah that he will be among the successful

A onaj koji se bude pokajao, i koji bude vjerovao, i koji bude dobra djela činio, on će postići šta je želio.

Al-Qasas 28:68

وَرَبُّكَ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيَخۡتَارُۗ مَا كَانَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡخِيَرَةُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him

Gospodar tvoj stvara šta hoće, i On odabira. Oni nemaju pravo birati. Hvaljen neka je Allah i vrlo visoko iznad onih koje s Njim izjednačuju!

Al-Qasas 28:69

وَرَبُّكَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمۡ وَمَا يُعۡلِنُونَ

And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare

Gospodar tvoj zna ono što srca njihova kriju i ono što oni iskazuju.

Al-Qasas 28:70

وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ لَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned

On je Allah, drugog boga osim Njega nema; Njemu neka je hvala i na ovome i na onome svijetu! Samo On sudi i Njemu ćete se vratiti.

Al-Qasas 28:71

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ سَرۡمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِضِيَآءٍۚ أَفَلَا تَسۡمَعُونَ

Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you light? Then will you not hear

Reci: "Kažite vi meni – ako bi Allah dao da vam noć potraje vječno, do Sudnjega dana, koji bog bi vam, osim Allaha, svjetlo dao? Zar ne čujete?"

Al-Qasas 28:72

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرۡمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِلَيۡلٖ تَسۡكُنُونَ فِيهِۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see

Reci: "Kažite vi meni – ako bi Allah dao da vam dan potraje vječno, do Sudnjega dana, koji bog bi vam, osim Allaha, noć dao da u njoj otpočinete? Zar ne vidite?

Al-Qasas 28:73

وَمِن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لِتَسۡكُنُواْ فِيهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

And out of His mercy He made for you the night and the day that you may rest therein and [by day] seek from His bounty and [that] perhaps you will be grateful

Iz milosti Svoje On vam je dao noć i dan; da se u njoj odmarate, a da iz dobara Njegovih privređujete i da zahvalni budete."

Al-Qasas 28:74

وَيَوۡمَ يُنَادِيهِمۡ فَيَقُولُ أَيۡنَ شُرَكَآءِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تَزۡعُمُونَ

And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim

A na Dan kada ih On pozove i upita: "Gdje su oni koje ste Meni ravnim smatrali?" –

Al-Qasas 28:75

وَنَزَعۡنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ شَهِيدٗا فَقُلۡنَا هَاتُواْ بُرۡهَٰنَكُمۡ فَعَلِمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ

And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce your proof," and they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them is that which they used to invent

iz svakog naroda dovešćemo svjedoka i reći: "Dajte svoj dokaz!" i oni će saznati da je Bog jedino Allah, a neće im biti onih koje su izmišljali.

Al-Qasas 28:76

۞إِنَّ قَٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُوْلِي ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِينَ

Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant

Karun je iz Musaova naroda bio, pa ih je tlačio, a bili smo mu dali toliko blaga da mu je ključeve od njega teško mogla nositi gomila snažnih ljudi. "Ne budi obijestan, jer Allah ne voli one koji su obijesni!" – govorili su mu ljudi iz naroda njegova –

Al-Qasas 28:77

وَٱبۡتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَأَحۡسِن كَمَآ أَحۡسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَلَا تَبۡغِ ٱلۡفَسَادَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters

"i nastoj da time što ti je Allah dao stekneš onaj svijet, a ne zaboravi ni svoj udio na ovome svijetu i čini drugima dobro, kao što je Allah tebi dobro učinio, i ne čini nered po Zemlji, jer Allah ne voli one koji nered čine."

Al-Qasas 28:78

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عِندِيٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ أَهۡلَكَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مَنۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُ قُوَّةٗ وَأَكۡثَرُ جَمۡعٗاۚ وَلَا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked

"Ovo što imam stekao sam znanjem svojim, tako ja mislim" – govorio je on. A zar nije znao da je Allah prije njega uništio neke narode koji su bili od njega jači i koji su bili više nakupili – a zločinci neće o grijesima svojim ni ispitivani biti.

Al-Qasas 28:79

فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فِي زِينَتِهِۦۖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا يَٰلَيۡتَ لَنَا مِثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيَ قَٰرُونُ إِنَّهُۥ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٖ

So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune

I iziđe on pred narod svoj u svom sjaju. "Ah, da je i nama ono što je dato Karunu!" – govorili su oni koji su čeznuli za životom na ovom svijetu – "on je, uistinu, presretan."

Al-Qasas 28:80

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَيۡلَكُمۡ ثَوَابُ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ لِّمَنۡ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗاۚ وَلَا يُلَقَّىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلصَّـٰبِرُونَ

But those who had been given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and does righteousness. And none are granted it except the patient

"Teško vama!" – govorili su učeni – "onome koji vjeruje i čini dobra djela bolja je Allahova nagrada, a biće samo strpljivima pružena."

Al-Qasas 28:81

فَخَسَفۡنَا بِهِۦ وَبِدَارِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ مِن فِئَةٖ يَنصُرُونَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنتَصِرِينَ

And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who [could] defend themselves

I Mi smo i njega i dvorac njegov u zemlju utjerali, i niko ga od Allahove kazne nije mogao odbraniti, a ni sam sebi nije mogao pomoći.

Al-Qasas 28:82

وَأَصۡبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوۡاْ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلۡأَمۡسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيۡكَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُۖ لَوۡلَآ أَن مَّنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَاۖ وَيۡكَأَنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ

And those who had wished for his position the previous day began to say, "Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants and restricts it! If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have caused it to swallow us. Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed

A oni koji su ranije priželjkivali da su na njegovu mjestu, stadoše govoriti: "Zar ne vidite da Allah daje obilje onome od robova Svojih kome On hoće, a i da uskraćuje? Da nam Allah nije milost Svoju ukazao, i nas bi u zemlju utjerao. Zar ne vidite da nezahvalnici nikad neće uspjeti?"

Al-Qasas 28:83

تِلۡكَ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ نَجۡعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوّٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فَسَادٗاۚ وَٱلۡعَٰقِبَةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous

Taj drugi svijet daćemo onima koji ne žele da se na Zemlji ohole i da nered čine, a one koji se Allaha boje čeka sretan kraj.

Al-Qasas 28:84

مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have better than it; and whoever comes with an evil deed - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they used to do

Onaj ko učini dobro djelo dobiće deseterostruku nagradu za njega, a onaj ko uradi zlo – pa, oni koji budu zlo radili biće tačno prema zasluzi kažnjeni.

Al-Qasas 28:85

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٖۚ قُل رَّبِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَمَنۡ هُوَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

Indeed, [O Muhammad], He who imposed upon you the Qur'an will take you back to a place of return. Say, "My Lord is most knowing of who brings guidance and who is in clear error

Onaj koji ti objavljuje Kur'an sigurno će te vratiti na onaj svijet. Reci: "Gospodar moj dobro zna ko je na Pravome putu i ko je u očitoj zabludi."

Al-Qasas 28:86

وَمَا كُنتَ تَرۡجُوٓاْ أَن يُلۡقَىٰٓ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ إِلَّا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ ظَهِيرٗا لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be an assistant to the disbelievers

Ti nisi očekivao da će ti Knjiga biti objavljena, ali, ona ti je objavljena kao milost Gospodara tvoga; zato nikako ne budi nevjernicima saučesnik!

Al-Qasas 28:87

وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ أُنزِلَتۡ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

And never let them avert you from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you. And invite [people] to your Lord. And never be of those who associate others with Allah

I neka te oni nikako ne odvrate od Allahovih riječi, kada ti se objave, i pozivaj Gospodaru svome i nikako ne budi od onih koji druge Njemu smatraju ravnim!

Al-Qasas 28:88

وَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۘ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ كُلُّ شَيۡءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجۡهَهُۥۚ لَهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned

I ne klanjaj se, pored Allaha, drugom bogu! Nema boga osim Njega! Sve će, osim Njega, propasti! On će suditi, i Njemu ćete se povratiti!
