Koran 9:98 — soera At-Tawbah, vers 98

وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغۡرَمٗا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ ٱلدَّوَآئِرَۚ عَلَيۡهِمۡ دَآئِرَةُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ

En van de bedoeïenen zijn er sommigen die datgene wat zij uitgeven als een boete zien en wachten tot rampen jullie zullen treffen zodat zij zich tegen jullie kunnen keren (wanneer de moslims zwak zijn), over hen is de ramp van slechtheid. En Allah is Alhorend, Alwetend.

And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing
