Koran 9:102 — soera At-Tawbah, vers 102

وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ خَلَطُواْ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ

En (er zijn) anderen die hun zonden erkend hebben, zij hebben een daad die goed was, gemengd met een slechte. Wellicht zal Allah zich tot hen keren met vergeving. Zeker, Allah is de meest Genadevolle, de meest Barmhartige (met het woord 'wellicht' wordt binnen deze context bedoeld: zekerheid. Moge Allah ons allen vergeven).

And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful
