Koran 6:38 — soera Al-An'am, vers 38

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا طَـٰٓئِرٖ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيۡهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يُحۡشَرُونَ

Er is geen bewegend schepsel op aarde, noch een vliegende vogel met klappende vleugels, of het behoort tot een gemeenschap zoals die van jullie. We hebben niets verwaarloosd uit het (alomvattende) boek (nl. Al-Lawh Al-Mahfoodh). Dan zullen zij tot hun Heer verzameld worden.

And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered

• Hilali & Khan: There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): There is no moving creature on earth or a bird flying with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have missed nothing in the Record, then to their Lord they will be gathered.
