Koran 6:16 — soera Al-An'am, vers 16

مَّن يُصۡرَفۡ عَنۡهُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فَقَدۡ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Hij van wie op die dag zo’n bestraffing is afgewend, (daarvoor zal Allah) zeker genade voor hem hebben. En dat zou een duidelijk succes zijn.

He from whom it is averted that Day - [Allah] has granted him mercy. And that is the clear attainment

• Hilali & Khan: He who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allâh) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Whoever is spared the punishment on that Day is blessed with His mercy. That is the clear triumph.
