Koran 6:153 — soera Al-An'am, vers 153

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِي مُسۡتَقِيمٗا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

En waarlijk, dit is de rechte weg (die Ik jullie aanbeveel). Volg het dus en volg geen paden (die hieraan tegengesteld zijn), (want zij doen slechts afkeer tussen jullie ontstaan) waardoor jullie steeds verder van het rechte pad afdwalen. Dit is wat Hij jullie heeft opgedragen. Wellicht jullie godvrezend zullen worden.

And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous

• Hilali & Khan: "And verily, this (i.e. Allâh’s Commandments mentioned in the above two Verses 151 and 152) is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): This is My straight path; follow it and do not follow other ways, lest they lead you away from His way. This is what He commands you, so that you may become righteous.”
