Koran 6:100 — soera Al-An'am, vers 100

وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡۖ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَٰتِۭ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Toch kennen zij de djinn als deelgenoot aan Allah toe in de aanbidding, hoewel Hij hen geschapen heeft en zij kennen Hem valselijk, zonder kennis, zonen en dochters toe. Verheerlijkt is Hij! En verheven boven (alles) wat zij Hem toekennen.

But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters. Exalted is He and high above what they describe

• Hilali & Khan: Yet, they join the jinn as partners in worship with Allâh, though He has created them (the jinn); and they attribute falsely without knowledge sons and daughters to Him. Be He Glorified and Exalted above all that (evil) they attribute to Him.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They regard the jinn as partners of Allah, even though He created them, and they falsely attribute to Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Glorified and Exalted is He far above what they ascribe to Him.
