Koran 59:19 — soera Al-Hashr, vers 19

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

En wees niet zoals degenen die Allah vergaten waarna Hij hen zichzelf liet vergeten. Dat zijn de verdorvenen.

And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient

• Hilali & Khan: And be not like those who forgot Allâh (i.e. became disobedient to Allâh), and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. It is they who are the evildoers.
