Koran 57:26 — soera Al-Hadid, vers 26

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحٗا وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مُّهۡتَدٖۖ وَكَثِيرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ

En voorwaar, Wij hebben Noeh en Ibraahiem gestuurd en aan hun nageslacht het profeetschap en het boek geschonken en onder hen zijn er die geleid worden, maar velen van hen zijn verdorven.

And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We sent Noah and Abraham, and gave prophethood and Scripture to their offspring: some among them are guided, but most of them are evildoers.
