Koran 5:11 — soera Al-Ma'idah, vers 11

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ أَن يَبۡسُطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡكُمۡ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنكُمۡۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

O jullie die geloven! Gedenk de gunsten van Allah voor jullie toen sommige mensen (een plan) wensten te maken, om hun handen tegen jou uit te strekken, maar (Allah) weerhield hun handen. Vrees dus Allah. En laat de gelovigen in Allah hun vertrouwen leggen.

O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when a people determined to extend their hands [in aggression] against you, but He withheld their hands from you; and fear Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely
