Koran 47:35 — soera Muhammad, vers 35

فَلَا تَهِنُواْ وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّلۡمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ

Wees dus niet zwak en vraag dus niet om vrede (omdat er niet te sollen valt met de Islam), terwijl jullie de overmacht hebben. Allah is met jullie en zal nooit de beloning voor jullie goede daden verminderen.

So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds

• Hilali & Khan: So be not weak and ask not for peace (from the enemies of Islâm) while you are having the upper hand. Allâh is with you, and He will never decrease the reward of your good deeds.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Do not lose heart or call for peace, for you will have the upper hand and Allah is with you. And He will never detract [the reward of] your deeds.
