Koran 47:25 — soera Muhammad, vers 25

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَى ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمۡ وَأَمۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ

Waarlijk, degenen die zich hebben afgekeerd als ongelovigen nadat de leiding voor hen duidelijk is geworden, daarvoor heeft Shaytaan hun valse hoop geven in alles en hun zonden schoonschijnend gemaakt.

Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them

• Hilali & Khan: Verily, those who have turned back (have apostatised) as disbelievers after the guidance has been manifested to them - Shaitân (Satan) has beautified for them (their false hopes), and (Allâh) prolonged their term (age).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Indeed, those who turn back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them, it is Satan who has tempted them and deceived them with false hopes of a long life.
