Koran 43:35 — soera Az-Zukhruf, vers 35

وَزُخۡرُفٗاۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

En versieringen van goud. Maar dit alles zou niet anders dan een vermaak van deze wereld zijn. En het hiernamaals bij jullie Heer is slechts voor de godvrezenden.

And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous

• Hilali & Khan: And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is (only) for the Muttaqûn.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): and [golden] ornaments. But all of these are mere enjoyments of the life of this world, and the Hereafter with your Lord is [only] for those who fear Allah.
