Koran 43:22 — soera Az-Zukhruf, vers 22

بَلۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

Welnee! Zij zeggen: “Wij vonden onze vaders op een bepaalde godsdienst, en wij leiden onszelf door hun voetstappen.”

Rather, they say, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are in their footsteps [rightly] guided
