Koran 3:50 — soera Ali 'Imran, vers 50

وَمُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَجِئۡتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ

En ik ben gekomen om te bevestigen wat voor mij was van de Thora en om voor jullie een deel wettig te maken wat verboden was, en ik ben tot jullie gekomen met een bewijs van jullie Heer. Vrees Allah dus en gehoorzaam mij.

And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me
