Koran 24:8 — soera An-Nur, vers 8

وَيَدۡرَؤُاْ عَنۡهَا ٱلۡعَذَابَ أَن تَشۡهَدَ أَرۡبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتِۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

Maar het zal de bestraffing van haar afwenden, als zij vier maal voor Allah getuigt dat hij een leugen vertelt.

But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars

• Hilali & Khan: But it shall avert the punishment (of stoning to death) from her, if she bears witness four times by Allâh, that he (her husband) is telling a lie.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But she will be spared the punishment if she testifies four times by Allah that he is telling a lie,
