Koran 22:42 — soera Al-Hajj, vers 42

وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَثَمُودُ

En als zij jou verloochenen, zo werden de profeten voor jou ook verloochend door het volk van Noeh, Ad en Thamoed.

And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets]
