Koran 22:12 — soera Al-Hajj, vers 12

يَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُۥ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُۥۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِيدُ

Hij roept naast Allah datgene aan wat hem niet baat noch wat hem schade kan toebrengen. Dat is een afdwaling die ver weg gaat.

He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error
