Koran 20:82 — soera Taha, vers 82

وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٞ لِّمَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا ثُمَّ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ

En waarlijk, Ik vergeef beslist degene die berouw toont (voor zijn zonden), gelooft (in Mijn éénheid), goede daden verricht (zowel de verplichte als de vrijwillige) en daarmee voortgaat (tot de dood).

But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance
