Koran 2:35 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 35

وَقُلۡنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسۡكُنۡ أَنتَ وَزَوۡجُكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنۡهَا رَغَدًا حَيۡثُ شِئۡتُمَا وَلَا تَقۡرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

En Wij zeiden: “O Adam! Woon tezamen met jouw vrouw in het paradijs en eet beiden vrijelijk met plezier en genot van de zaken daarvan, zoveel als je maar wilt, maar kom niet bij deze boom of jullie beiden zullen tot de zondaren behoren.”

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers

• Hilali & Khan: And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We said, “O Adam, dwell in Paradise, you and your wife; and eat freely from wherever you wish, but do not approach this tree, or else you will both become the wrongdoers.”
