Koran 2:245 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 245

مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يُقۡرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥٓ أَضۡعَافٗا كَثِيرَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَقۡبِضُ وَيَبۡصُۜطُ وَإِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

Wie is degene die aan Allah een goede lening leent (goede daden zoals uitgeven op de weg van Allah), zodat Hij hem het in veelvoud terug zal geven. En het is Allah die vermindert of vermeerdert, en tot Hem zullen jullie terugkeren.

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned
