Koran 2:182 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 182

فَمَنۡ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٖ جَنَفًا أَوۡ إِثۡمٗا فَأَصۡلَحَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ فَلَآ إِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

Maar hij die bang is dat de maker van het testament onrechtmatig handelt of iets verkeerd doet, en daarna vrede sluit tussen de betreffende partijen, zal geen zonde gepleegd hebben. Zeker, Allah is de Vaak-Vergevende, de Genadevolle.

But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

• Hilali & Khan: But he who fears from a testator some unjust act or wrong-doing, and thereupon he makes peace between the parties concerned, there shall be no sin on him. Certainly, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But if someone fears partiality or injustice from the testator, and puts things right between the parties, then there is no sin upon him, for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
