Koran 2:176 — soera Al-Baqarah, vers 176

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَفِي شِقَاقِۭ بَعِيدٖ

Dat is omdat Allah het boek met de waarheid naar beneden heeft gezonden. En waarlijk, degenen die redetwisten over het boek zijn in grote verdeeldheid.

That is [deserved by them] because Allah has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension

• Hilali & Khan: That is because Allâh has sent down the Book (the Qur’ân) in truth. And verily, those who disputed as regards the Book are far away in opposition.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): That is because Allah has sent down the Book in truth. And those who differ over the Book are surely in extreme dissension.
