Koran 18:104 — soera Al-Kahf, vers 104

ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعۡيُهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا

Dat zijn degenen van wie de daden tijdens het wereldse leven werden tenietgedaan, terwijl zij dachten dat hun daden beloning zouden opleveren.

[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work
