Koran 16:37 — soera An-Nahl, vers 37

إِن تَحۡرِصۡ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَن يُضِلُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ

Als jij naar hun leiding hunkert, dan waarlijk leidt Allah niet degenen die Hij laat dwalen. En zij zullen geen helpers hebben.

[Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers

• Hilali & Khan: If you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) covet for their guidance, then verily Allâh guides not those whom He makes to go astray (or none can guide him whom Allâh sends astray). And they will have no helpers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Even though you are keen to guide them, Allah does not guide those whom He causes to stray, and they will have no helpers.
