Koran 12:52 — soera Yusuf, vers 52

ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعۡلَمَ أَنِّي لَمۡ أَخُنۡهُ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي كَيۡدَ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ

(Toen) zei de vrouw van de koning: “Dit zodat Yoesoef weet dat ik hem niet in het geheim bedrogen hebt. En waarlijk! Allah leidt niet de samenzwering van de verraders.

That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers

• Hilali & Khan: [Then Yûsuf (Joseph) said: "I asked for this enquiry] in order that he (Al-‘Azîz) may know that I betrayed him not in (his) absence". And, verily! Allâh guides not the plot of the betrayers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): That is because he [i.e., the chief] should know that I did not betray him in his absence, for Allah does not lead the guile of the betrayers to succeed.”
