Koran 11:54 — soera Hud, vers 54

إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعۡتَرَىٰكَ بَعۡضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٖۗ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشۡهَدُوٓاْ أَنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

Wij zeggen slechts dat een paar van onze goden jou met gekte hebben geslagen.” Hij zei: “Ik roep Allah op als getuige om voor jullie te getuigen dat ik vrij ben van datgene wat jullie als deelgenoten in de aanbidding toeschrijven, -

We only say that some of our gods have possessed you with evil." He said, "Indeed, I call Allah to witness, and witness [yourselves] that I am free from whatever you associate with Allah
