Koran 11:118 — soera Hud, vers 118

وَلَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗۖ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخۡتَلِفِينَ

En als jullie Heer dat zo gewild had, kon Hij zeker van de mensheid een gemeenschap maken, maar zij zullen niet stoppen in hun onenigheid.

And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ
