Koran 11:114 — soera Hud, vers 114

وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ طَرَفَيِ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَزُلَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ يُذۡهِبۡنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلذَّـٰكِرِينَ

En verricht het gebed perfect aan de twee uiteinden (dus de vijf verplichte gebeden) van de dag en in wat uren van de nacht. Waarlijk, de goede daden verwijderen de slechte daden. Dat is een advies voor degenen die denken.

And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember

• Hilali & Khan: And perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât ), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salât (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at some hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds wipe out evil deeds. This is a reminder for those who are mindful.
