Coran 7:48 — sourate Al-A'raf, verset 48

وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٗا يَعۡرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنكُمۡ جَمۡعُكُمۡ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

Les gens d’Al-A’râf interpelleront des hommes en Enfer qu’ils reconnaîtront à leurs signes distinctifs, auxquels ils diront : « Les richesses que vous amassiez et la fierté que vous affichiez ne vous ont été d’aucune utilité. »

And the companions of the Elevations will call to men [within Hell] whom they recognize by their mark, saying, "Of no avail to you was your gathering and [the fact] that you were arrogant

• Noor International Center (fr): Les gens de Al-A ̒râf interpelleront des hommes qu’ils auront reconnus à leurs traits particuliers en disant : « Tout ce que vous aviez amassé ne vous aura servi à rien, pas plus que ne vous aura profité votre orgueil. »
• Hilali & Khan: And the men on Al-A‘râf (the wall) will call unto the men whom they would recognise by their marks, saying: "Of what benefit to you were your great numbers (and hoards of wealth), and your arrogance (against Faith)?"
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): The people of the Heights will call out to some men whom they recognize by their marks, saying, “Neither your great numbers nor your arrogance were of any avail to you.”

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 7:48

Les hommes d’Al-`A’râf apostropheront des hommes destinés à l’Enfer qu’ils reconnaîtront à leurs signes distinctifs, comme leurs visages noirs et leurs yeux bleus, en leur disant: Vos richesses et votre nombre ne vous ont pas été utiles, pas plus que vous être détournés de la vérité par orgueil et par arrogance.
