Coran 6:79 — sourate Al-An'am, verset 79

إِنِّي وَجَّهۡتُ وَجۡهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Je tourne mon visage, en monothéiste pur et sincère, vers Celui qui a créé les cieux et la terre, et ne suis point du nombre des païens. »

Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah

• Hilali & Khan: Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanîfa (Islâmic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allâh Alone), and I am not of Al-Mushrikûn (See V.2:105)".

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 6:79

Je pratique ma religion en n’adorant exclusivement que Celui qui créa les Cieux et la Terre à partir de rien. Je me dissocie du polythéisme et souscris au monothéisme pur. Je ne suis pas un polythéiste qui adore des divinités avec Allah.
