Coran 6:69 — sourate Al-An'am, verset 69

وَمَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنۡ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖ وَلَٰكِن ذِكۡرَىٰ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

Les pieux croyants n’ont pas à répondre du comportement de ces derniers qu’ils doivent seulement exhorter à craindre le Seigneur.

And those who fear Allah are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him

• Noor International Center (fr): Ceux qui ont la piété n’ont nullement à répondre de (ceux qui ne l’ont pas), mais il est bon de rappeler, peut-être craindront-ils (Allah).
• Hilali & Khan: Those who fear Allâh, keep their duty to Him and avoid evil are not responsible for them (the disbelievers) in any case, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may fear Allah (and refrain from mocking at the Qur’ân). [The provision of this Verse was abrogated by the Verse 4:140].
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Those who fear Allah are in no way accountable for them; their duty is only to remind, so that they may abstain [from mockery].

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 6:69

Il n’appartient pas à ceux qui craignent Allah en se conformant à Ses commandements et en délaissant Ses interdits de demander des comptes à ces personnes injustes. Ils ne se doivent que de leur défendre les agissements blâmables qu’ils accomplissent. Peut-être vont-ils alors finir par craindre Allah, se mettant alors à se conformer à Ses commandements et à délaisser Ses interdits.
