Coran 6:35 — sourate Al-An'am, verset 35

وَإِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيۡكَ إِعۡرَاضُهُمۡ فَإِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ أَن تَبۡتَغِيَ نَفَقٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَوۡ سُلَّمٗا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتَأۡتِيَهُم بِـَٔايَةٖۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰۚ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ

Si, ne supportant pas de les voir se détourner de toi, il t’est possible de creuser un tunnel sous terre ou de tendre une échelle vers le ciel pour leur apporter un signe, alors fais-le ! Allah, s’Il le voulait, les mettrait tous sur le droit chemin. Ne sois donc pas du nombre des ignorants.

And if their evasion is difficult for you, then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign, [then do so]. But if Allah had willed, He would have united them upon guidance. So never be of the ignorant

Autres traductions 6:35

• Noor International Center (fr): Si leur rejet te paraît lourd à supporter, (n’hésite pas), si tu le peux, à emprunter un tunnel sous terre ou à gravir une échelle jusqu’au ciel pour aller leur apporter un Signe ! Or Allah, s’Il l’avait voulu, les aurait tous mis sur la voie de la droiture (hudâ). Ne sois donc pas du nombre des ignorants.
• Hilali & Khan: If their aversion (from you, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and from that with which you have been sent) is hard on you, (and you cannot be patient of their harm to you), then if you were able to seek a tunnel in the earth or a ladder to the sky, so that you may bring them a sign (and you cannot do it, so be patient). And had Allâh willed, He could have gathered them together (all) on true guidance, so be not you one of those who are Al-Jâhilûn (the ignorant).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If you find their denial hard to bear, then seek – if you can – a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign. If Allah had willed, He could have brought them all to guidance; so do not be of those who are ignorant.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 6:35

Ô Messager, si tu es peiné par leurs propos et leur refus de la vérité que tu leur apportes, et que tu te sens capable de creuser un tunnel sous terre ou de gravir une échelle te permettant de monter jusqu’au Ciel afin de leur apporter un argument et une preuve évidente autres que ceux dont Nous t’avons fournis, alors qu’il en soit ainsi. Si Allah voulait qu’ils soient tous guidé par ce que tu as apporté, ils le seraient d’ores et déjà mais Il ne le voulut pas pour une raison suprême. Ne sois donc pas inattentif à cela car tu perdrais ton temps en contritions pour leur refus d’avoir la foi.
