Coran 5:91 — sourate Al-Ma'idah, verset 91

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءَ فِي ٱلۡخَمۡرِ وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَعَنِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِۖ فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ

Satan ne cherche, à travers les boissons alcoolisées et les jeux de hasard, qu’à semer parmi vous haine et animosité et à vous détourner d’Allah et de la prière. Allez-vous donc y renoncer ?

Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist

• Noor International Center (fr): Satan n’a d’autre objectif que celui de semer entre vous l’animosité et la haine, par l’intermédiaire du vin et du jeu, et de vous détourner du souvenir d’Allah et de la Çalât. Cesserez-vous donc (de vous y adonner) ?
• Hilali & Khan: Shaitân (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allâh and from As-Salât (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain?
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Satan only wants to create enmity and hatred between you through intoxicants and gambling, and to prevent you from remembering Allah and from prayer. Will you not then abstain?

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 5:91

En embellissant à vos yeux le vin et les jeux de hasard, Satan vise à introduire l’animosité et la haine entre vos cœurs et à les détourner de l’évocation d’Allah et de la prière. Délaisserez-vous donc, ô croyants, ces pratiques blâmables? Il ne fait aucun doute que c’est ce qui vous convient. Cessez donc de vous y adonner.
