Coran 5:73 — sourate Al-Ma'idah, verset 73

لَّقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَٰثَةٖۘ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّآ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۚ وَإِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهُواْ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Ont assurément rejeté la foi ceux qui affirment qu’Allah est la troisième personne d’une trinité. Or, il n’y a qu’un seul dieu en droit d’être adoré. Si ces mécréants ne cessent de proférer de tels blasphèmes, ils subiront certainement un douloureux châtiment.

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment

• Noor International Center (fr): Ont certes mécru ceux qui ont dit : « Allah est le troisième d’une trinité », quand en réalité il n’y a point d’autre divinité que la Divinité Unique. Et s’ils ne mettent pas fin à ce qu’ils disent, alors atteindra les mécréants parmi eux un supplice très douloureux.
• Hilali & Khan: Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allâh is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no Ilâh (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilâh (God -Allâh). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They have certainly disbelieved, those who say, “Allah is one of Three.” None has the right to be worshiped except One God. If they do not desist from saying this, those who disbelieve from among them will be afflicted with a painful punishment.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 5:73

Sont mécréants les chrétiens qui disent qu’Allah est constitué de trois entités: le Père, le Fils et le Saint-Esprit. La réalité d’Allah n’a rien à voir avec leurs paroles, gloire et pureté à Lui! Allah n’est pas une trinité: Il est Seul et Il n’a pas d’associé. S’ils ne cessent pas de prononcer ces paroles abominables, un châtiment douloureux sera leur lot.
