Coran 5:46 — sourate Al-Ma'idah, verset 46

وَقَفَّيۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدٗى وَنُورٞ وَمُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَهُدٗى وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

Nous avons, à la suite de ces prophètes, suscité Jésus fils de Marie qui confirma les enseignements de la Torah. Nous lui avons confié l’Evangile, bonne direction et lumière confirmant les préceptes de la Torah, guide et exhortation pour ceux qui craignent Allah.

And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 5:46

Nous avons envoyé sur les traces des prophètes des enfants d’Israël Jésus fils de Marie, qui croyait en ce que contenait la Torah et jugeait conformément à ses lois. Nous lui avons aussi donné l’Evangile qui renferme la guidée vers la vérité et des arguments qui dissipent les ambigüités, résout les problèmes posés par certains jugements et confirme ce qui a été révélé auparavant dans la Torah, excepté certains jugements abrogés. Nous avons également fait de l’Evangile une guidée grâce à laquelle on s’oriente sur le droit chemin et une dissuasion contre l’illicite.
