Coran 4:82 — sourate An-Nisa, verset 82

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَۚ وَلَوۡ كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ غَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُواْ فِيهِ ٱخۡتِلَٰفٗا كَثِيرٗا

Ne sont-ils pas disposés à méditer le Coran ? S’il venait d’un autre qu’Allah, n’y trouveraient-ils pas maintes contradictions ?

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction

• Noor International Center (fr): Que ne méditent-ils donc le Coran ? S’il venait d’un autre qu’Allah, ils le trouveraient truffé de contradictions.
• Hilali & Khan: Do they not then consider the Qur’ân carefully? Had it been from other than Allâh, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Do they not then ponder on the Qur’an? If it had been from anyone other than Allah, they would have surely found in it many discrepancies.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 4:82

Pourquoi ces gens-là ne méditent-ils pas le Coran ni ne l’étudient? Ils verraient alors qu’il ne contient ni contradiction ni incohérence, et ils constateraient sa véracité. S’il provenait d’un autre qu’Allah, ils y auraient trouvé des incohérences dans ses jugements et des contradictions dans les sens de ses versets.
