Coran 31:29 — sourate Luqman, verset 29

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِيٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

Ne vois-tu pas qu’Allah fait pénétrer la nuit dans le jour et le jour dans la nuit, et qu’Il a soumis le soleil et la lune à des lois, l’un et l’autre poursuivant leur course jusqu’à un terme fixé ? Ne sais-tu pas qu’Allah est parfaitement informé de ce que vous faites ?

Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted

• Noor International Center (fr): Ne vois-tu pas qu’Allah fait entrer la nuit dans le jour et qu’Il fait entrer le jour dans la nuit, qu’Il a soumis le soleil et la lune, tous les deux poursuivant leur course vers un terme déjà nommé, et qu’Allah est, de tout ce que vous faites, parfaitement Informé ?
• Hilali & Khan: See you not (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that Allâh merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night are added to the hours of the day), and merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of day are added to the hours of night), and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allâh is All-Aware of what you do.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Do you not see that Allah causes the night to merge into day and the day into the night, and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed term, and that Allah is All-Aware of what you do?

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 31:29

Ne vois-tu pas qu’Allah diminue la durée de la nuit afin d’allonger celle du jour, qu’Il diminue la durée du jour afin d’allonger celle de la nuit, qu’Il détermine le parcours du soleil et de la lune qui se déplacent chacun dans une orbite spécialement dédiée jusqu’à un terme fixé? Ne sais-tu pas qu’Allah sait le mieux ce que vous faites: rien de vos agissements ne Lui est inconnu et Il vous rétribuera selon leur nature.
