Coran 3:78 — sourate Ali 'Imran, verset 78

وَإِنَّ مِنۡهُمۡ لَفَرِيقٗا يَلۡوُۥنَ أَلۡسِنَتَهُم بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لِتَحۡسَبُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Il en est parmi eux qui transforment certains versets en vous faisant croire qu’ils appartiennent aux Ecritures alors qu’ils n’en font pas partie, affirmant que ces paroles émanent d’Allah alors qu’il n’en est rien, mentant sciemment sur Allah.

And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, "This is from Allah," but it is not from Allah. And they speak untruth about Allah while they know

• Noor International Center (fr): Et parmi eux, il y a ceux qui, en lisant le Livre, tordent leurs langues pour que vous croyiez que cela provient vraiment du Livre, alors qu’il n’en est rien. Et ils disent : « Cela vient d’Allah », alors qu’il n’en est rien. C’est qu’ils débitent au sujet d’Allah des mensonges, et ils le savent bien.
• Hilali & Khan: And verily, among them is a party who distort the Book with their tongues (as they read), so that you may think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book, and they say: "This is from Allâh," but it is not from Allâh; and they speak a lie against Allâh while they know it.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And there are some among them who alter the Scripture with their tongues so that you may think it is part of the Scripture, while it is not part of the Scripture; and they say, “It is from Allah,” while it is not from Allah. And they tell lies about Allah knowingly.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 3:78

Parmi les juifs, il en existe certains qui jouent avec leurs langues afin de lire dans la Torah révélée par Allah ce qui n’y apparaît pas afin que vous croyiez qu’ils lisent réellement la Torah. Ce qu’ils lisent correspond plutôt à leur mensonge et à leur invention au sujet d’Allah. Ils disent de plus «Ce que nous lisons a été révélé par Allah», alors que ce n’est pas le cas. Ils profèrent ainsi des mensonges sur Allah en en étant totalement conscients.
