Coran 29:63 — sourate Al-'Ankabut, verset 63

وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

Si tu leur demandes qui fait descendre du ciel une eau par laquelle la terre morte reprend vie, ils répondront certainement : « C’est Allah ! » Dis : « Louange à Allah ! » Mais la plupart d’entre eux sont privés de tout entendement.

And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason

• Hilali & Khan: And if you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" they will surely reply: "Allâh." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh!" Nay, most of them have no sense.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If you ask them who sends down rain from the sky, then revives therewith the land after its death, they will surely say, “Allah”. Say, “All praise is for Allah,” but most of them do not understand.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 29:63

Ô Messager, si tu demandais aux polythéistes qui a fait descendre de l’eau du Ciel et a couvert la terre de verdure après qu’elle ait été aride, ils répondraient: C’est Allah. Ô Messager, dis: Louange à Allah qui vous a explicité Son argument mais il apparaît que la plupart d’entre eux n’usent pas de leur raison, car si cela avait été le cas, ils n’auraient pas associé à Allah des divinités qui ne sont ni utiles ni nuisibles.
