Coran 28:19 — sourate Al-Qasas, verset 19

فَلَمَّآ أَنۡ أَرَادَ أَن يَبۡطِشَ بِٱلَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوّٞ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ أَتُرِيدُ أَن تَقۡتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسَۢا بِٱلۡأَمۡسِۖ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّآ أَن تَكُونَ جَبَّارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَن تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِينَ

Au moment où Moïse voulut s’attaquer à leur ennemi commun, il s’écria : « Veux-tu, Moïse, me tuer comme tu as provoqué hier la mort d’un homme ? Tu veux décidément te comporter comme un être brutal sur terre, non comme un homme enclin à faire le bien. »

And when he wanted to strike the one who was an enemy to both of them, he said, "O Moses, do you intend to kill me as you killed someone yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land and do not want to be of the amenders

• Noor International Center (fr): Lorsqu’il voulut s’attaquer à leur ennemi commun, il lui fut dit : « Ô Moïse, veux-tu donc me tuer comme tu as déjà tué un homme hier ? Tu ne veux être, décidément, qu’un tyran sur terre, et tu ne souhaites manifestement pas être parmi les hommes de bien. »
• Hilali & Khan: Then when he decided to seize the man who was an enemy to both of them, the man said: "O Mûsâ (Moses)! Is it your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? Your aim is nothing but to become a tyrant in the land, and not to be one of those who do right."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): When he was about to strike the one who was an enemy to both of them, he said, “O Moses, do you want to kill me as you killed that person yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land, and you do not want to be one of those who put things right!”

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 28:19

Puis quand Moïse voulut frapper le Copte, qui était son ennemi et l’ennemi de son compatriote israélite, cet autre Copte crut que Moïse allait s’en prendre à lui et lui dit: Veux-tu me tuer comme tu as tué cet homme hier. Tu ne recherches qu’à être un tyran sur Terre qui tue et persécute les gens. Tu ne recherches pas à réconcilier les adversaires.
