Coran 24:2 — sourate An-Nur, verset 2

ٱلزَّانِيَةُ وَٱلزَّانِي فَٱجۡلِدُواْ كُلَّ وَٰحِدٖ مِّنۡهُمَا مِاْئَةَ جَلۡدَةٖۖ وَلَا تَأۡخُذۡكُم بِهِمَا رَأۡفَةٞ فِي دِينِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۖ وَلۡيَشۡهَدۡ عَذَابَهُمَا طَآئِفَةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Infligez cent coups de fouet à quiconque, homme ou femme, se livre à la fornication. Ne renoncez pas, par pitié pour les coupables, à appliquer la loi divine, si vous croyez en Allah et au Jour dernier. Et qu’un groupe de croyants assiste à l’exécution de la peine.

The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment

• Noor International Center (fr): À la fornicatrice et au fornicateur, donnez à chacun cent coups de fouet. Que ne vous prenne nulle pitié pour eux dans l’application de la loi d’Allah, si vous croyez en Allah et au Jour Dernier. Qu’un groupe de croyants assiste en témoins à leur châtiment.
• Hilali & Khan: The fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime, but if married persons commit it (illegal sex), the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh’s Law).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): As for the woman and the man who commit fornication; flog each of them a hundred lashes. Do not let pity for them make you lenient concerning the law of Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 24:2

Infligez au fornicateur et à la fornicatrice( ) cent coups de fouet et que la pitié ou la compassion ne vous retiennent pas de les punir et ne vous amènent pas à alléger leur peine, si vous croyez en Allah et au Jour Dernier. Et afin que leur crime soit connu de tous, de faire passer aux coupables l’envie de recommencer et que leur sort dissuade d’autres personnes de les imiter, faites assister un groupe de croyants à l’exécution de la peine.
