Coran 21:45 — sourate Al-Anbya, verset 45

قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أُنذِرُكُم بِٱلۡوَحۡيِۚ وَلَا يَسۡمَعُ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ

Dis : « Je ne fais que vous transmettre les avertissements qui me sont révélés. » Mais les sourds ne sauraient entendre les mises en garde qui leur sont adressées.

Say, "I only warn you by revelation." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned

• Hilali & Khan: Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "I warn you only by the revelation (from Allâh and not by the opinion of the religious scholars and others). But the deaf (who follow the religious scholars and others blindly) will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned [i.e. one should follow only the Qur’ân and the Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship, and the statements of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, as the companions of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did)].
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Say, “I only warn you by divine revelation.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are warned.

Ô Messager, dis: Ô gens, je vous avertis avec ce qui m’est révélé par mon Seigneur contre le châtiment d’Allah, mais les sourds n’écoutent pas de bonne foi lorsqu’on les appelle à la vérité et qu’on les avertit contre le châtiment d’Allah.
