Coran 2:28 — sourate Al-Baqarah, verset 28

كَيۡفَ تَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَكُنتُمۡ أَمۡوَٰتٗا فَأَحۡيَٰكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

Comment pouvez-vous renier Allah alors qu’Il vous a donné la vie en vous tirant du néant, qu’Il vous fera revivre après la mort, et que c’est à Lui enfin que vous serez ramenés ?

How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned

• Noor International Center (fr): Comment mécroyez-vous en Allah alors que vous étiez morts et qu’Il vous a donné la vie ? Puis Il vous fera mourir, puis vous fera revivre, puis à Lui vous serez ramenés.
• Hilali & Khan: How can you disbelieve in Allâh? seeing that you were dead and He gave you life. Then He will give you death, then again will bring you to life (on the Day of Resurrection) and then unto Him you will return (See V.40:11)
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): How can you disbelieve in Allah, when you were lifeless then He gave you life, then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you back to life again, then to Him you will be returned?

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 2:28

Ô mécréants, votre cas est ahurissant! Comment pouvez-vous mécroire en Allah alors que vous êtes témoins des effets qu’a Son pouvoir sur vous? Vous n’étiez au commencement que néant et Il vous a fait exister puis Il vous a fait vivre. C’est Lui ensuite qui vous fait mourir une seconde fois puis revivre de nouveau et Il vous fera revenir à Lui afin que vous rendiez des comptes sur vos actions passées.
